good move....roads and good connectivity is the foremost requirement in that region...good going GoI

The main reason for delays are:

1.) Land acquisition - we are not a dictator regime country, some time people don't like to give away their land they goes to courts and govt. have to justify their demands and pay more compensation.

2.) Environment clearance - we have very lengthy and tire some process and govt. have to explain the effects on environment + environmentalist lobby. What environment will do if country is not safe and secure?

3.) Bureaucracy - Its ping pong between center-state govt. + our anti development babus.

4.) Corruption

5.) Lack of existing infrastructure - It takes months to supply construction materials and machines as these area don't have any roads etc. It also raises the cost.

Isnt it India aim to increase infrastructure around the whole country to meet a sustain growth of 9% ?

So whats wrong with making these roads, everyone can use them not only for tanks etc.

Ur right, but why u become defensive even if its for security of the nation??

Don't we have right to defend from any aggression or prepare for the worst?

We are doing its in our territory after all.
