India plan to purchase Armata tanks from Russia

I honestly give my deepest gratitude to Chinia, all defence projects which were stalled on the last decade has not given highest priority.
China can sell you tank if India want. Better specs.

Pakistan economy status is worsen compare to India but still buying fighter aircraft's, submarine and other military hardware.

So don't worry! We will manage..
Problem is India can avoid all those mess. Now putting more Dalits into slum is the way to get fund.

I don't get it. With so many slums, why India keep bullying neighbors instead of building yourself. What kind of colony mentality. The Brahmans manage India as their colony, don't give a fcuk of their own people.

China is.

China has the largest number of neighbors (14) sharing its 22,000km land borders namely: North Korea, Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam.

Also China has neighbors(8) across the sea: Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Malay, Thailand, Cambodia, Brunei and Indonesia.

China has good relationship with most of them. Especially the largest one: Russia, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Cambodia.
China has workable relationship with most of them, even some of them has water dispute with China.

China is largest trade partner of all our neighbors. China is largest trade partner of most major economies.

While India has little to none trade with neighbors.

How did India deal with neighbors? India has only handful neighbors, and every single of them hate India.

Don't be fooled by Hindutva propaganda. India is worst on handling neighbor relationship, especially during Modi.

My friend recently visited a textile equipment manufacturing plant in China and surprised that the plant was manufacturing tanks as well (likely for foreign clients). As he is not professional, the "tank" he saw might be self-propelled howitzer or IFV. However, the point is China might be manufacturing defense equipment for foreign defense companies, which outsource parts of their works to plants in China.

So it is likely that even the Russian tank is partly made in China. (of course, no company wants to admit this practice)

Indians one day will understand, no countries can buy themselve into a world power, especially for a country with total foreign reserves smaller than city of Hong kong.

China has a trade deficit with Brazil, Taiwan, Germany, Australia, Japan and South Korea. These countries and territories are hostile to China. It is an iceberg threatening to sink the ship

China is.

‘Why import even Ganesha idols from China’: Nirmala Sitharaman in push for self-reliance

Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman wondered if importing household products used everyday like a soap-box, plastic items or incense sticks used for pooja purposes would support self-reliance especially when such products were made locally by Indian firms and MSME(s).

Centre weighs tariffs to curb China imports

Ganesha idols made of clay have been traditionally bought from the local potters during Ganesh Chaturthi festival every year, she said.

“But today, why even Ganesha idols are imported from China..why such a situation...can’t we make a Ganesha idol from clay, is it the situation?” she asked.

She wondered if importing household products used everyday like a soap-box, plastic items or incense sticks used for pooja purposes would support self-reliance especially when such products were made locally by Indian firms and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

Such a situation of importing things that are locally made and available should change and self-reliance is the basic idea behind the Aatmanirbhar Abhiyan, she said.

Self-reliance was practised in India for long, but it faded subsequently and now the Abhiyan initiative stood for local manufacturing, she said.

“Self-reliant India (Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan) does not mean that imports should not be done at all.

For industrial growth and creation of job opportunities here you may please do whatever imports that are needed. “ In her speech in Tamil, she referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “Modi Ayya (sir),” and listed out the “achievements” of the government in the past one year after her party returned to power at the Centre.

She praised the valour of Havildar K Palani from Tamil Nadu who was among the 20 soldiers killed in a clash with Chinese troops at Ladakh on June 15.

Don't understand why India, as one of the biggest countries in population in the world, never tries to build things by their own.

Anwer is very simple - how many countries can make fighter aircraft's expect (USA, China, Russia, Sweden, France, EU, and England)?

Same goes to Tanks, navy ships (destroyer and frigates) etc...

India still in WIP.... some area's, we are successful and some areas are failed. Likewise,
indian navy is a successful,
Indian Airforce - we are little late but still going to right direction when comes to aircraft design and manufacturing.
Indian amry: massive failure in Tank design and development.

How successful, how many year you have been building your carrier? how much of the carrier are actually Indian domestic?
India navy are assembled in India, not made.
