Ideally we should extend Pakistan's motorway system to Amritsar and then onwards to Delhi.

then the smallish one lane crossing on wagah will turn out to be for show only, because most of the traffic will go through the 6 lane highway.

I don't know about the Pakistani soldiers, but the Indian soldiers posted on the LoC happen to be from every part of India. Punjab, Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam, whatever. Not "Punjabi Dharti", but just Dharti.
