BENGALURU: Ban this, Ban that. India goes on a ban spree. India broke the record by imposing ban on six different things within a weak. Media widely refers to the Indian Republic as the Ban Republic. To uphold the ‘dignity of India’ government chooses to impose the ban on things which are rather unnecessary in today’s scenario.

However it is the government that has the ultimate authority to decide what is right and what is not for a healthy nation. The following are the results of such well thought out decisions. Watch out!

Ban on Beef:

Animal are respected in India and a cow is more so respected. But one cannot deny the fact that it is a delicacy to some. And also it is too late to impose on ban on something that is already so widely present in India. However the point is that the government of Maharashtra imposed a ban on sale or consumption of beef. Anyone found going against this law will be subjected to pay a fine 10, 000 or 5 years of imprisonment.

You , @The_Showstopper , @isupportaap , and @Guynextdoor2 has religious duty to hate India or at leat BJP/RSS/Modi.

Why should we give credence to your hate filled opinion?

Terror-funding NGOs.

Phoney monetary investment which is actually channelling funds for wrong reasons in India.

Groups that hinder India's development.

Groups that target India's security interests.

Groups that promote demographic war.

That is super, finally, someone had to do this. Full support from me.

WTF ?

Six ?

I actually opened the link.

Bullshit traffic generating lie.

These websites should be reported. I don't know how to do it, someone who knows...please do report it to mib. Ministry of information & broadcasting. I will try now.

P.S. : MIB has a useless website. How to report this ? Report it to PMO's website. I'll try it too.

in truth, the ban-ana republic, where dogs have respect, human concerns don't.

Terror-funding NGOs.

Groups that promote demographic war.

in other words, "vishwa hindu parishad" ( vhp ).

Groups that target India's security interests.

define "india's security interests".

What are the other 5 things??
Apparently they are 15 as follows:

1. BBC Documentary India's Daughter. Because the government is too lazy to do anything else about the safety situation in the country. Too bad we know how to download.

2. Beef. Because gai hamari mata hai. Want to cook your mother-like animal? Blasphemous! (One butter chicken, one burrah kebab and two fish cutlets please. )

3. Movies. 50 shades of Grey, Paanch, Fire and other films that were banned in India. But accessing **** is allowed.

4. 'Lesbian' word. Because that will stop her from being one. While we are at it, ban 'wheat complexion' also. Half of India's worry solved.

5. Smoking in public places. The only ban that makes sense.

6. Homosexuality, "unnatural sex". Because if sodomy is to ever be addressed, the judiciary will have to acknowledge homosexuality in India. Vicious circle sir. Nope. Indians only do it missionary style.

7. Sex toys: Pleasure for the self? No we do not believe in it. We do believe in mass manufacture of gun-shaped pichkaris and toys for our children.

8. Marijuana. What ban? Marijuana is banned in India? But my friend bought it from a cop the other day...

9. AIB roast. Arrest him. What did I do, sir? You made people laugh.

10. Wendy Doniger's The Hindus; Salman Rushdie's The Satanic Verses and other books banned in India. Because words are like weapons. They allow a thinking mind. Dangerous. Very.

11. Communist Party of India (Maoist). Because the state wants to be an ostrich. And smart-cities will lead to the development of tribals.

12. Pornography: While accessing and possessing it is alright, manufacture and publication of X-rated content is illegal. Ok. Er.

13. Bikinis banned in Goa. Let's give them visa-on-arrival and a complimentary saree!

14. Dance bars in Mumbai. Because somehow that will stop the 'male patrons'.

15. Lingerie clad mannequins in Mumbai. Now that there are no more dance bars, mannequins were where the 'male patrons' turned to.

15 Things India Has Banned Over The Years. Ghor Kalyug.

Hi
The government is doing perfectly fine. I suggest that government should also start giving monetary support to poor Hindus who cannot do pilgrimage, as the government does for poor Muslims. This will be truly secular. Just my views and I know it doesn't matter till now.
Cheers
Thanks

Depends on where you are. Karnataka gives Rs.30,000/- as subsidy to those going to Manasa Sarovar. Many other states give a similar subsidy of differing amounts. Only the poor non-believers don't get a subsidy to go to their holy places of Las Vegas & Hawaii.:(
