What China does in Maldives is business practiced by every country, what India wants is a military base, but that's your thing, we will continue doing business around the world, many countries need investments.
Your business model is working at the expense of sovereignty of smaller, much weaker nations. It's unchecked capitalism on a global scale. US and Russia did the same with weapons. You guys do it with money.

Can you guarantee you won't use the port for military use in the future? I doubt it. Once you hand over like you did with Hong Kong, it's lost.
