What's new

India not unduly concerned over China's military modernization: Antony

To head off anyone who objects by saying "oh but we get partial or even full ToT"

Let's look at this way. Two students are taking a physics or math test, they both have a problem set to study from. One student spends hours and hours on it, trying and failing and trying and failing, until he finally understands the problems. The other student tries the problems, can't get it right, tries again, still wrong then he looks at the answers on the back of the book, and says to himself "oh yeah that's what I was going to do the next try", he then finishes the rest of the problem set like this.

The two students take the exam. Who do you think is better prepared if the prof asks something new on the exam. Well indigenous research and ToT are the same way.

soln is self learning..............but u cant wait to be threatened or attacked.
so exact soln is self learning with some cheating in exams

.
there shud be separate budget of 10-15 billion dollars for research and develoment..it will definitely give fruits

Can't agree more with you, our research and development need a serious nudge. :taz:
I think 1.2% of our GDP is for research, which should me increased to atleast 2.5%

You people are louts, I hope the thoughtful ones at least consider what I posted.

Actually admitting this again will do nothing but inflate your already over-streched egos. It is widely acknowledged both by the Indian people and the government that China is ahead of us (not as much as you think but still). Yet I see threads like this every other day trying to put forth this point in a shamelessly taunting fashion. The title of this thread is a classic example.

Have fun.

Yeah, all of this sourced from your own media. Both the contradictory headlines.

But don't worry, I expect to see more warmongering articles by the Indian media, like the recently discussed one of "China will attack India by 2014".

Don't worry..
Media is doing their job....

I want them to sensationalize this news...
Our lazy politicians will wake up...

India is less important to China than other countries, but that doesn't mean I will be happy over the warmongering Indian media.

But you don't have to. Anybody who knows the meaning of the word 'ignore' doesn't have to. And when something as 'unimportant' as India is the topic, I don't think 'ignore' is a far fetched concept.
