India moving 150 T-72s tanks and Smerch rockets to Ladakh.

The country you are taking against this if you use it they will strike back with far more power

1. We are not taking it against anyone . We are moving it in our territory .

2. Every strike on our soil will be given a tit for tat .... be it any country .

Can anyone list the advantages of the indian T72 conpared to the standard model?
In 2004 Indian Army started upgrading T-72s under project Rhino. Follwing are its features:
1. A new fire control system: the Drawa-T from PCO-Cenzin of Poland. The Drawa-T is present on the Polish PT-91 tanks, their much improved variant of the T-72, and a muzzle reference system.
2. A thermal imager integrated with the Drawa-T fire control system, supplied by Israel's El-Op.
3. New radios: DRDO's and BEL's (Bharat Electronics Ltd) state-of-the-art frequency hopping combat net radio, to be manufactured by BEL.
4. A fibre optic gyro-based navigation system: BEL's advanced land navigation system.
5. The DRDO's Explosive Reactive Armour (ERA) package is part and parcel of the upgrade. It reduces the effect of Milan type ATGM hit by 70%.
6. Indian army is also changing original barrels of T-72 with barrels of T-90.
7. New 1000-horsepower engines (identical to the T-90 tank) to replace the T-72’s old 780-horsepower engines.

T-72s will be like sitting ducks in front of Chinese fire. First thing, The actual location and numbers of men and materials should never be revealed. Second thing, T-72s should be replaced by T-90s in Ladakhs.
