India loses the plot on the Rohingya issue: Hands the game to China

Mate there are multiple sources where people can learn and read about facts and be informed of realities nowadays unlike decades ago when only sources of information would be Western media houses.. This is a complex issue not a Black and White innocent minority vs bad majority/Muslim vs Buddhist issue.. Not all Muslims in in Myanmar are involved, Neither are all Muslims in Myanmar Rohingya, Neither are all Muslims in Rakhine Rohingya.. The ethnic Muslims of Rakhine are the Kaman or Kamein, Who are the original inhabitants of that region and are Myanmar citizens.. Rohingya are relatively a new term coined in the last decade or two and the Rohingya are Bengali people who mass migrated to those parts only three or four decades ago

@Nilgiri @Aung Zaya .. Like i mentioned months ago after the initial media hysterics and propaganda dies down, People will learn the ground facts about these kind of conflicts

You should read from historical events and not from hearsay.
It will give you a clear idea of the conflict there.

We still inherit the british made law of 1826 resettling the Rohgingya as far as Rangpur district of northern bengal. These are in black and white.

I usually wont comment on subjects i don't do thorough research on and i surely do not base my information form single or bias sources

And every neutral source points to the mass migration of Bengali's from Chittagong are's to
Rakhine in the 60's and 70's.. There was no term called Rohingya in existent in Myanmar till the 2000's

. .
Your research brought you to the conclusion of Horses Egg, called Rohingya settled in Arakan 30 years ago.

Of cause it did because prior to the early 2000's there was no real term called Rohingya in existence in Myanmar.. There was Rahkine Buddhists and Kaman Muslims though, along with mass migrations of Chittagong Bengalis

Ya right...
Listen to this Rakhine historian and Rakhine activist from Burma. From 4:00 onward where he mentions that the Rohingyas are native to the Mayo district and aborigines.
This guy is a staunt Rakhine supporter and anti Bengali.

Any valid neutral source to validated this claim ?
it is good to know that you seek for information.
here are some info
now some facts:
1. We first took Rohingya ppl in 1978 who were running from Persecution.
2. Early evidence of Bengali Muslim settlements in Arakan date back to the time of Min Saw Mon (1430–34) of the Kingdom of Mrauk U. After 24 years of exile in Bengal, he regained control of the Arakanese throne in 1430 with military assistance from the Bengal Sultanate. The Bengalis who came with him formed their own settlements in the region.
Now from whom Min Saw Mon was running away ? it is from burmese kingdom.
If you want more proof , study on Kingdom of Mrauk U.
3. Burmese govt. stopped calling them Rohingya instead call them Bengalis, because Rohingya term has historical background.
4. The new Burmese govt. citizenship law suggests that no one will be citizen of Myanmar whoever had come during British rule now here is fun fact, Before British rule Burmese kingdom invaded Arakan (Now Rakhaine)
and led to Anglo-British wars.
5 . The word Rohingya would then mean "inhabitant of Rohang", which was the early Muslim name for Arakan.Andrew Tan argues it comes from the Arabic word Raham (God's blessing) and speculates that early Muslims in Arakan referred to themselves as "God's blessed people.

and what does that do to the bangladeshi economy? is it helpful? Stop trolling and get back to the topic at hand....India is a country and it has every right to defend it self, we dont want another crisis in our backyard, these people can settle in bangladesh, why dont you take them or ask your jumma chumma to take them why India?
Your countryman started it. I just gave it proper way...

Who attacked India?

Bangladesh may take them with land. NOT without.

If ummah gets involved then there will be proper crisis. You want that?

I will go through these tks.. Btw Maung Zani isn't exactly a neutral perspective, I'd expect better sources for referral

Do whatever you want to do, just stay away from our country, we already have a lot of problems, we dont want another headache, at least do something for yourself and your people......we are helping you with supplies aren't we?:undecided:

Please provide these "neutral" sources.

Are you really this naive? Myanmar would have allowed hundreds of thousands of BD'shis through a small border in 2 decades to completely change the demographics in Arakan?

Rohingyas are native to Arakan.
Understand that first and then speak.

There is significant visible ethnic differences apparent from most people that have come in. Rohingyas don't really look all that much like local people. So that difference could have happened in three or four decades.

I hope the gullible 'chetona' idiots have now turned the corner, and they have now completely lost the popular vote for that matter.

Problem is, our collective memory as a nation is so short that we can be duped in this manner by the sweet talking backstabber dadas and assorted other banya h*r*mis from that country, this Rohingya event has shown us who our friends are and are not...

Its interesting that bhakt idiot brought up Mir Jafar. Point is the number one person conspiring to pass Bengal (and therefore India) to the British was not Mir Jafar himself but a Jain Moneylender named Jagat Seth, read the sordid details...(anyone wonder why these backstabbers are the way they are)....

"Let’s look at the east first. What exactly happened before the Battle of Plassey? Sir Penderel Moon (The British Conquest and Dominion of India) says “some influential Hindu bankers in Murshidabad, alienated by Siraj ud Daulah’s violence and caprice, had secretly informed (the British) that they were meditating his removal”. These influential bankers were Oswal Jains, led by a man whose title was Jagat Seth, meaning “banker to the world”. His name is not known for certain, but it might have been Madhav Rai. The Muslims had no confidence in running the economy and usually trusted the Hindu mercantile castes to do this. Akbar’s economist Todar Mal was Punjabi Khatri.

The problem the Oswal Jains had with Siraj ud Daulah was that, only in his 20s, he was not mature or knowledgeable. He did not understand interest or finance, and did not apply the rule of law. He preferred rule by whim. He became violent when it was learnt that he had no money to pay salaries to the army. Sir Penderel writes: “He is said to have struck Jagat Seth, the leading Hindu banker, in the face and threatened him with circumcision... It seems to have been Jagat Seth who took the lead in approaching the English for help in overthrowing him.”

Jagat Seth played from the shadows. History records the broker of Plassey’s treachery as another trader in Bengal, a Punjabi Khatri called Amin Chand. He is said to have cemented the deal between Clive and Mir Jafar, but then blackmailed the British saying he would tell Siraj ud Daulah unless he was paid Rs 30 lakh."

Are you saying a kafir Jain lender had power over momin Mir Jafar and downfall of Islamic Bengal sultanate was Jain lender deal with British ,well I can only toast to that man !
