Don't blame your political system alone..your army is the main beneficiary of US support.

If being the linchpin of the US could help us to prevent terrorist activities on our soil from our neighboring country...read Pakistan...if it can help us to teach a lesson to expansionist dragon...read china..then I don’t see anything wrong in it....and both are democratic countries…US has never invaded any democratic country…their own people wont support it and it will be very difficult for the lawmakers to sale it to their people…

If I were an Indian I would be planning for the same.

The truth is that America will want to call in a big favour or two at some point, I mean they are not going to create a big power for nothing in return, and if I were an Indian that would worry me a bit, what do they want back?

And the same applies to pak/china, because if the Chinese regard pak as their Israel then surely that's something quite dangerous?

The pak India drama is a sub plot to a wider and bigger game.
