You are sounding if there is anything wrong or shameful about eating fish. Why we have to explain to the stupid Pakis about whether we eat more fish or more meat? If anything, they should be sorry that, due to their dry landscape, their fish production is low and can not be raised much. So they can not eat fish adequately, a source of animal protein much much better than red meat. We, Bangladeshi eat just 23 kg fish per year per person, while in South Korea, it is 78.5 kg, Norway 66.6 kg, Japan 53.7 kg. Should Korean, Scandinavian, Japanese should feel ashamed about eating so much fish? Never be apologetic for doing good/right thing. Eating fish is beneficial for health, eating red meat is bad. Our fish consumption need to increase by at least 3 times.

In Bangladesh, most type of fishes are cheaper than beef or mutton. Only some of type fish are pricier, such as Hilsa, big prawn etc. You can buy 1 kg Rui or Katla fish at 1/3rd of Beef price, Pangas and Tilapia at 1/4th of beef.

Fish is more expensive in countries which has little domestic production or depends on import, such as Kuwait or some European countries. But Bangladesh is a country of fish due to presence of numerous water bodies. Our fresh water fish production is 3rd in the world. Only after China and India.

You don't understand none of us here, deny anything about the progress of India. We know why Pakistan is behind. Our problem is of governance and collection of taxes. People in Pakistan have money, the government doesn't, because no one like to pay their taxes and dues.
What we object to is Indian without the knowledge belittling Pakistanis, calling them poor etc. Which is just BS.
Pakistani and people like me of Pakistani origin know very well that we have far better standard of living than most of the Indians.
India has very squeezed and skewed distribution of wealth. Because of your population and demands it is very easy for anyone with a good business idea to become billionaire. Creating few big and very rich families, doesn't serve the purpose of a country' socially needs. What India has is few billionaires and over 500 million people in living in dire conditions and the rest also not very well off.
There is a way you should compare things. For examples Karachi doesn't have high rise buildings compared to Mumbai, because Karachi is spreading all around, it has plenty of land, therefore, unless people wants to live in congested city space, they move out to suburbs and build a new house. But now Gradually Karachi is getting tall buildings. Pakistanis majority still like houses.
For example the house Shah Rukh Lives in Mumbai, the size of that plot is common among middle class people, not even higher middle class. They live in far bigger houses. You drive down in any major city of Pakistan, you will see very nice, architects' created beautifully designed houses. No Indian city can provide the comparisons.
I work in IT, I have plenty of interaction with Indians in the UK. India has done a good job to create job market for their younger professionals, while Pakistani politicians were more busy to create job and investments opportunities for their own children.
This is the difference, and the downfall of Pakistan. Otherwise we were far ahead of India until 80s and 90s and we can still surge ahead if we correct our course and get rid of these criminal politicians.
That's why you see most Pakistanis here on this forum are very balanced in their approach.

Why dont you give up this big boys game of terrorism? your country has gone bonkers due to it, and yes just because people dont pay taxes doesn't makes them poor, I can give you countless examples of Indians who are poor on record and have properties around city, even Indians dont like to pay taxes and hence govt puts them in low income class, 70% of our population is able to earn money on monthly basis, it is just that they dont pay taxes, our tax collection too is very low, close to 4.5% pay taxes while the ideal % would be somewhere around 21%, I dont want to compare individual properties, Its too late for you to catch us, we will soon become $3 trillion economy, but you can still leave terrorism as a political extension and develop as a country, we dont hate Pakistanis, we hate the enemy you have become, otherwise we too have 200 million Muslims in India...

yeah i was reffering to hilsa and other fishes of that sort
