What's new

India is fast losing out to China's muscle

And I am telling you, that its not true.

India was way way behind china in almost all parameters. From infrastructure, health, life expectancy, literacy, government infra, governance experience, resources, per capital income, factories, schools, universities and even basic amenities like water.

You can pick up any parameter and I can prove that India was behind china by a lot.
China's life expectancy in 1949 was 30 something, then india must be 20 something..

But anyway my point is that back then two countries were very similar, but after 70 years, we are worlds apart, so your claim that you had great leaders doesn't seem to be that great.

In 2017, chinese life expectancy was 76.

In 2017, Indian life expectancy was 69.

In effect, the gap remains the same. China has not done better than India. So how are you worlds apart ?

I never claimed we had great leaders.

Western media demozies every singel Chinese leader in the history, but facts speak louder than words, see hwere XChina was in 1949 and where China is now.

And I see no difference. We were 10-15 years behind china back then, and we are still 10-15 years behind china today.

India was under sanctions by the US and its allies from 1971 onwards. It was lifted only in 2004.

US lifted sanctions on you in 1971.

Ffrom 3 years to 10 years based on your chart, tripled the gap, how long do you think people can live if 10 years is nothing.

10-15 years ago China was already one of the top manufactruing, trading and exporting nations, built up the world largest foreign reserve and india now is..still nothing.

That chart is not very accurate.

If you consider 1947 as the starting point, when Indian life expectancy was 28 years and chinese was 36 years, the gap was 8 years.

In 2017, the Indian life expectancy was 69 years vs chinese life expectancy of 76 years, the gap was reduced to 7 years.

So if anything Indian rate of growth is better.

Irrelevant. That is your model of development. That is your secret sauce.

India has our model of development, we have our own secret sauce.

In 2006, your GDP was 2.7 Trillion $.

In 2017, India GDP was 2.5 Trillion $.

So the gap between us is around 11 to 12 years.

Ok, India grows better than China, now you happy, say that to teh world and see what other people have to say.

Who cares what people have to say.

Only the truth matters.

.
10-15 years ago we already saw Chinese products everywhere around the world, but even today I don't see many indian products anywhere. India doesn't really have a solid industrial base to make things happen.

That's China's development rate, how can you be sure that India can do the same? You don't even have a industrial base to start with.
