What I said is relatively better position cause back then the war torn China just finished a century of wars while India relatively enjoyed peace and largley stayed out of those great wars and the economy wise the two countries were very similar.

Not only was India war torn, we were also famine stricken and unlike the chinese who were allowed to migrate to the US or Singapore or wherever the hell they wanted, Indians were not even allowed to migrate to the US , Europe, Australia , Canada or singapore .

In fact, when a group of Indians on a ship reached canada and sought refuge, their ship was sunk at high seas to ensure we never repeat the same again. lol.

I did not want to turn this into a pissing contest.

China has enforced 1 child policy, so the natural consequence of this is to care for that 1 precious child. India has no such laws restricting the number of children you can have, so the level of child care is correspondingly lesser. Chinese children are certainly more well fed than Indian children. (on an average)

China is certainly a better place for being a women (though 50% of chinese men have admitted to rape) , but that has more to do with education and corresponding opportunity. Still china enforced education for ALL and thus ensured all of its women were educated and you certainly deserve congratulations for that.

China officially hangs and shoots more people in a single year, than the last 20 years statistics of vigilante killings in India put together.


Still if you want to insist that chinese are more caring and have more social conscious than Indians, feel free to believe so. I take no satisfaction in pulling china down, nor do I take any satisfaction in speaking a lie.

Though I have no doubt that China is indeed one of the safest places for women. But I have to say that most chinese men in the cities appear effeminate to me. (per Indian standards). There is also statistics about high levels of impotence in chinese men (25%).

All of this could be true, or all if it could be false or some of it could be true. The real problem is the lack of transparency in china, so we are forced to form our opinions based on articles with possible agenda.

Global peace Index is worthless and its only good for propaganda.

Their data is based on " levels of perceived criminality, number of police per 100,000 people (India has one of the lowest police per people ratio because we are so peaceful) and level of organised crime) as well as external peace indicators (these include military expenditure as a % of GDP and nuclear weapons capabilities).

As per the article, The main factors going against India were those such as terrorist activity, conflicts, the number of nuclear and heavy weapons in the country.

How is any of this even relevant ? its just a bunch of nonsense.
