India, Iran, Russia push alternative to Suez Canal

I really don't understand why Pakistan gets pissed off at other countries for wanting to get developed... if Pakistan doesn't want to progress, it will simply get left behind.... don't blame other countries for progressing, while Pakistan is paralyzed due to protests about Blasphemy...

i dont consider it a threat. How can something that doesnt exist be a threat? meanwhile, why is pakistan against indian investment in afghanistan and iran? is it that insecure?
You're not concerned but Indian government are @Cobra Arbok

And as for Indian investment for Iran and Afghanistan is not our concerns we are not even think about it but our concern is that why you(India) supporting/spreading terrorism in Pakistan via Iran and Afghanistan @Cobra Arbok

Those who don't have anything to be proud of get angry and jealous when others succeed.

Lol good joke, unless, until it become chinese naval base.. we don't need to worry... nightmares for what? The only thing that we are opposing is the route... apart that we don't mind about your gwadar.. please spare us from your nonsense..

The Chabahar Port is completely irrelevant to Pakistan. It has no value to offer Pakistan neither does it pose any danger.

The very fact is that Pakistan has built a port INSIDE Pakistan with help from China. The PLAN will eventually turn it into a full fledged Naval Base with help from Pakistan. It will all become very clear to you once the Russian Navy docks at Gwadar in future on a friendly visit.

You can take your opposition to the route and shove it where the sun don't shine. Go ahead, complain about the route to Russia or the US, oh wait!

Or rapes of elderly women toddlers and minorities, beef lynchings, caste based quota system protests, communal riots, rebellions in the north eastern belt etc etc.

Not any more. I am afraid Pakistan cannot rely on China to solve all of its problems and protect it from big bad India. For the first time in its history Pakistan will need to put on its big-boy pants.

India has been relying on the USSR, then Russian and now the USA+Russia.

Pakistan and China have been close friends and allies since the times when China was a poor country who went through a famine.

You should have gone to a better school.

Lol so you are willing to give up gwadar to china... ouch i thought Pakistan wants self reliant for its naval needs... it's ok let russians dock their flotilla in friendly visit... I want Indian navy become more strong do not want to provide naval base to USN or any other country... of course we will not do...

No one is giving up anything to China. India on the other hand has already signed the LEMOA with the USA. In the grand scheme of things the whole of India is now essentially a parking lot for the US military. So this means you have given away all of India to the imperialists who don't even care about an average American voter in Detroit.

No matter what they do they would always have to use pakistani controled airspace or pakistani controlled sea lanes (arabian sea)

The Arabian sea is controlled by India not Pakistan. Do you know how to read a map?

Now here is Pak's eez

Anyway, as I have mentioned before, Exclusive economic zones do not mean other nations cannot pass through. It simply means the nation the eez belongs to gets exclusive rights to national resources, such as fishing and oil exploration. By your logic, India can shut down almost all trade to China and most international trade because of its eez in the Arabian Sea and Amdaman and Nicobar Islands, which extends into the straits of Malacca.

Ur maps show it. Ships have to cross arabian sea and cross pakistani controlled or with in easy reach international borders. Ships will be able to pass yes but only in peace time. Indiaz control is just around indian waters. The straight of water between iran and pakistan is under complete pakistani and iranian control.

Just have a second look at the maps u just posted. Trading through enemy waters or waters with in easy reach of a modern equiped navy is as stupid as an indian planner can be. Thats how we lost the sealanes and later land to the british. Same stuff happened to china in hong kong. Never under estimate sea lanes or naval routes.

Fortunately, we have a navy strong to send all your toy ships to the bottom of the ocean if worst comes to worst(which will never happen, because the Pakistani Government is fortunately smarter than you. And those maps clearly show that the Pakistani eez does not cover any significant portion of the Arabian Sea, and India can simply use Oman's waters, which we have friendly relations with. Anyway, it is almost impossible to trade with China without crossing the straits of Malacca, which lies within the AaN Islands eez, as shown in the maps. So India can shut down most trade to China going by your logic.

On a side note, that is why China wants CPEC. So it does not have to rely on the Indian-controlled Malacca straits. Unfortunately, at the rate Pakistan is developing CPEC, it does not look like it will be a viable alternative to the Straits of Malacca anytime soon, especially since the border between Pakistan and China is thousnads of miles away from the center of China's population.
