India has contributed over 1,60,000 soldiers to UN.please educate yourself about Troop Numbers before claiming yourself as largest troop contributer as it takes total troops contributed,not present strength.also,India provided massive amount of hardware(Gunships,Tanks,Armoured Cars,Heavy Trucks etc).India is also a country which provides so much troops and equipments along with a Middle monetary contributor of UN.

that figure is of total numbers u have contributed. Pakistan while even in this 15 years of fighting still maintains the biggest UN mission ever by any country at a time ie 8000+ serving all over the world.

1,80,000+ soldiers and police
A member with Medium Donation Category
6 Canberra bomber for ONUC
4 Battleships for UNITAF and UNOSOM II
Gunships for UNAMSIL
Along with Tanks,Heavy Vehicles,Light Vehicles and other gears..
also,bore the most number of casualties.
Give others' statistics....then,we'll talk.

Bangladesh has the highest Peacekeeprs in UN. So, I guess, with that logic Bangladesh too should participate in UNSC. You are not getting into UNSC any time soon. Only way you can get into it is when Britain and France become irrelevant and there are more new powers in the World along with India. UN will then be dissolved just like the League of Nations.

Why not send your representative then?

In fact, this is what BRICS want. More access to developing nations equally.

Since you contribute so many troops, you should stand up for it and send your military representative as well.
