Dear, Actually you don't understand the diplomacy of India. Talk Talk and Talk (We know result is not going to come soon).......Just give them respect and luxury (to there leaders). Let them enjoy at our expense. Make them lazy and relaxed. show them what a waste they have done to there future. Show them Glimpse of coming Fortune and Future. Initially will lead to Seize fire...........This will continue for 5 to 10 years.

And later you will find them joining the Govt/ Election.

This has been successfully done by India many many times. Many North East problem has been solved by just doing this.

The India-backed Northern Alliance were just as ruthless. The only difference is that they lost and the Taliban won.

Why is why NATO had to step in and do the job that India couldn't.

We supported Northern alliance to defeat the Taliban not for ruling Afghanistan and subjugating Afghan people like you have done with the Talibs .

They were all ruthless warlords. If anything, the Taliban drastically reduced opium production in Afghanistan; the NA thrives on it. And we all know what goes along with drug trading.

Afghan people cannot be occupied. The Mughals tried it and failed. Then the British tried it and failed miserably. The Russians met the same fate and now Nato is failing miserably. There is a reason why Afghanistan is called the GRAVEYARD FOR THE SUPERPOWERS.

Even Today Afghans abuse Pakistani Punjabis calling them Son of Ranjit Singh!

This is what even India wants. Instead of Brainless fighting........ Taliban shd take part in constructive work in Afghanistan. This will definetly happen. May be will take more 5 - 10 years.

The only interest India has in Afghanistan (unlike USA and USSR) is that India's involvement in Afghanistan keeps Pakistan on a hot plate. You are mistaking India's involvement in Afghanistan as a means to some goal India has. But in reality, India's goal itself is to be involved in Afghanistan since achievement to that goal keeps the fire under that hot plate burning..

btw, have you seen how far back on the back burner has Kashmir gone on Pakistan's agenda, since last 4-5 years

Cm'on man these are Taliban leaders not some low level separatist ones ... They didn't stop resisting Soviet rule for more than 10 years even after all the benefits that it offered ... Do you think that US didn't offer them all that ? ... What makes you think they will accept this time ?

I wrote "the job that India couldn't", not "India wouldn't".

Even now, NATO can only do so much. They deposed the Taliban and installed the Indian proxy NA in power. Essentially, they provided an umbrella for India to cement its puppet regime but, after ten years, things haven't quite worked out. Hence the frustrated tantrums from the US administration.

actually, mughals ruled afghanistan, the greeks did, the persians did etc. what do we get from expelling the foregners on the cost of destroying owr own home to dust? what did we get from expelling the soviets? and what will we get from expelling the americnas? even before the americans came to Afghanistan, Afghaistan was occupied by foreigners, paksitan, india, iran etc, so what is the difference. We moron afghans get persuaded by the others especially paksitan for destroying our own home, but non of those are to our benefit. taking Afghanistan from americans and give to the others, what is the logic in it. all we need is peace and nothing else, if the Taliban are really sons of this country, they should stop demolishing their own home, if we have peace and normal life, foreigners will leave themselves.

Well what is west doing exactly is pushing India for the same Afghanistan trap that got USSR broken and USA bankrupt ... What chances would India have there with the Taliban remains to be seen ... Do they expect them to talk with India which supports the Northern Alliance ? One thing is clear that US puppet Karzai isn't going to last along once NATO departs
