No, it's Pakistan who opened the door to them back in the 80's and never managed to normalize the situation in Afghanistan so that you could send them back, you couldn't send them back even when a pro Pakistan regime (Taliban) was ruling Afghanistan during the 90's, why ????

See how India managed to get rig of majority of East Pakistan refugees back to Bangladesh in less than a decade and try to learn something for it if you can.

Last I heard was that they have changed IPI Pipeline to Iran-Pakistan pipeline now and it will be implemented within the next couple of years including an LNG terminal at Gwadar. Is it not so?

Well under that reality take the 7 Million afghans... ummah love both ways... seems like the afghans have since inception forsaken it... so they might as well go to India... again... as history repeats itself

The distance from Gujrat (the manufacturing centre of India) to Chambar and then Kabul is 2500 km the distance from Gujrat to Kabul through Pakistan is 1700 km. The Chambar route will eventually be rail and therefore much more efficient. Not to mention that Central Asian countries can now trade in bulk with India.

Congrats. Hopefully now Afghanistan can stop crying to us to provide land route to India and to open the border of Durand.

For us it is simple. Extend through China to central Asia, fence and control the border, keep Afghanistan ( a country that has hated us since our inception and has wanted death and destruction in pakistan since 1947) at arm's length and take control of economy and focus on their regional initiatives.
