The article is 5 years old that's what he is trying to say , any new article ?
xyxmt meant by afghanis not iran uae etc that's my point and this thread is about exporting to afghanistan using chahbahar so he meant to say who will buy thosr wheat with high price while same wheat they can have in kabul in same price as in peshawar. Not sure what you mean. I already posted the link to the article. Your post doesn't seem to include a link to an article.
Anyway what's your point? My point was that India exports wheat to a lot of countries, including to Pakistan's neighbor Iran. This was in response to somebody asking who would buy Indian wheat.
If you have a point to make in response, be my guest.
UAE, UK, Nepal, Bangladesh, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Iran, Malaysia, Jordan, Bahrain, ...

Lets see who will buy that wheat (wheat price + shipping cost + port charges + trucking cost) as compared to Pakistani wheat that be available at the same price in Kabul as in Peshawar.
you can give for free to afghanistan like you are doing now its ur wheat. But anyome who have a sense of business does not need proof to see the obivious.Do you have proof whatever you are claiming?
No one knows, Indian wheat cost. Might be, it could lower then pakistan wheat

do all these countries border Pakistan like Afghanistan?
Doing CPEC with China is more fruitful than doing your Chabahar trash.People should be actually asking about Tomatoes to Pakistan in that case, I guess ????
I seriously think, without involving and benefiting immediate regional players like India, Iran and Afghanistan, your CPEC is not going anywhere except China. Just wait and watch.
One of them does. And all of them buy more wheat from India than they do from Pakistan.
(And Pakistan doesn't have any other bordering country apart from China, so there!)
The larger point is this - Indian and Pakistani exporters have been vying against each other for a long time - and in recent years, it's been a no-contest, really.
no i dont as i said its their wheat they can give it for free and as i said earlier is good thing. Which country gives other country 1 ton of wheat for free while their are a lot of ppl to feed in the country they could use this 1 ton while trying to caputre a small market. In the end Pakistan will be in win situation 2-3 hour cost vs 1-2 week cost doesnt even come to close. It's not about business but try to hurt pakistan and to show world how great india is providing free wheat to afghanistan which they are/will welcome as long as its free.Don't you think they are aware of market realities as much as you are? Don't you think the average Afghan trader knows as much about profit and loss as you or I do? Don't you think the ultimate arbiter - the consumer who votes with her purse - would do so in her own self interest?
Relax, if Indian wheat is more expensive than Pakistani wheat, then the consumer who buys wheat would vote for (choose) the less expensive option.
But IF Indians can supply wheat at a cheaper cost than Pakistanis can, then the consumer would choose the cheaper option. That's how markets operate; that's how they have operated since the dawn of trade.
One of them does. And all of them buy more wheat from India than they do from Pakistan.

Yeah with that, access to central Asia!!i have always congratulated them and i will do it again, congratulations Bharatis and Afghans.
Hopefully we will lose this giant Afghani market as soon as we can..
we can never match their cheapness, to match their cheapness we need thousands of farmers willing to commit suicdes...
Yeah with that, access to central Asia!!
