India faces threat from China, Pakistan: Jaswant

Hello India,

You don't have to worry either from China or Pakistan. China will never wage war with you as long you are silent on Tibet or directly in the path of Chinese interest. And Pakistan just can't. China will not gain anything from such wars with their neighbors esp. country like India. China wants to be stronger in every respect along with her neighbors.
When China is weak be certain India would be weak too. Someone wants you to be weak but it's not China. I hope you would understand who that 'someone' is.

Someone pretends to be your friend and and has been trying so many ways to pollute your soul with imaginative fear of China. India , you have produced brilliant politicians and extra ordinary diplomats over the years. Don't worry too much. Don't trust in those
baseless words of Jaswant Singh.

Work hard and be respectful of all your neighbors. Pay attention and listen to them. Extend your friendly arm (Ghandian arm) to solve all the disputes with your neighbors.
Every problem can be solved via good diplomacy and clear intention to solve 'em - in course of time, definitely.

Remember, in the time of crisis, your neighbors would be your best friend to come up with timely help.
A stronger Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar is good for India. A stronger Pakistan is even better for India. A stronger India is better for China. And a stonger China is always better for all her neighbors and rest of the world. As we all know China and India will never dictate or interfere in other nation's affairs which are the root causes of hate and followed by wars, famine, hunger and suffering of Mankind!

Finally Mr. J Singh, don't preach something which is not true at all. Open up your loving arms like Bapujee to all your neighbors and be a VICTOR in world politics. Don't be part of their game plan who doesn't want to see the Asians as the next SUPER POWER.

Long live! friendship among Indian and Chinese neighbors for next thousand years.

Some interesting arguments!

... though may not by accepted by some extremists like Sino-phobia patients.

It is time you revisited history even if you want to embrace China as your long lost friend.

Forget 71. It was a cakewalk victpry for India; China or no China, US or no US!

Take Kargil!!

Take any other war.

Intervention of the US or China would have made a material difference in 1971. It is not that the US did not care. They sent their formidable 7th Fleet. What did China do? Bugger all!

That is Feindship for you that makes you roll over and play dead!

It is time to get over with emotions and smell the coffee!

Please kindly do not piss the public off by refusing to study the history.

Can't you just read US Department of State recently declassified document regarding 71 event?

It is time for you to stop telling us who we should and should not be friends with. Why would Pakistan want to involve china in Kargil? for what? The formidable so called 7th fleet was playing hide and seek with the russians and nothing more. By the way it was China that sent a strong warning to India to refrain from attacking West Pakistan.
Stop acting like a master's dog just because they offered you guys deals that you could never have imagined in your wildest of dreams.

Well said! :enjoy::enjoy:

An accurate description of history!

As a matter of fact, Nixon still kept its scheduled donation to India.

Han culturism differentiates between the culture of the Han, the inner people (nei ren) and the barbarians, the outer people (wai ren). This concept is a hand me down from the time of the Shang Dynasty, who political centre was located North of the Yellow River.

The Chinese differentiate between raw barbarians (shengfan) or the unassimilated people and the “cooked barbarians” (shufan) or those who were assimilated and yet were not the Han people e.g. the Han Chinese separated the ‘cooked’ Li of the coast of Hainan from the ‘uncooked’ Li of the central forest.

Barbarians were given generic names in the Chinese classics and histories: the Yi barbarians to the East, the Man to the South, Rong to the West and Di to the North.

Until the 1930s, the names of the outgroups (wai ren) were commonly written in characters with the animal radical: the Di, a northern tribe were linked to the dog; the Man and Min of the South were characterised with reptiles; the Qiangs were written with a sheep radical. This reflected the Han Chinese conviction that civilisation and culture were linked with humanity; alien groups living outside the pale of Han society were regarded as inhuman savages.

The custom of sharply distinguishing between the inner and outer people went along with the calling China the Middle Kingdom (zhong guo) , which began by ruling the Central plain (zhongyang) in North China. Rather than using outright military conquest, the theory of ‘using the Chinese ways to transform the barbarians (yongxiabianyi)’ was promulgated. By cultural absorption or racial integration through intermarriage, a barbarian could become a Han Chinese (Hanhua).

So much for the deceptive cuteness of "Man Han Yi Jia"

Seems like spreading of false/partially false information becomes your addiction... :disagree: Please refer to my following post in answering your another similar post:

Cooked history as in China is not our forte!

Which world are you living in?

China giving a warning?

All verbiage and hot air is all she gives every time there is a conflict.

Nothing more!!

And you all jump in joy!!

At least the Americans sent the 7th Fleet!!

"Indian Muslims are Indian first and Muslims later; otherwise they are welcome to abandon ship.

One can understand why it is whenever one meets Indian Muslims they complain that Pakistan has closed immigration to them and they are compelled to suffer the discrimination of Hindus.

It's a most regrettable attitude, that in the long term works to pakistan's advantage

Cynicism at it's best.

First of all, there are no Muslims who want to go to Pakistan! They have seen how Pakistan treated the Mohajirs and the Bangladeshis and now it is the other's turn. It is only in your dreams that Indian Muslims want to become Pakistanis. We have not read of any reports that suggest so.

And then the sickening attitude of trying to take advantage of the supposed suffering of fellow human beings and Muslims! You leave me astonished!

What are you representing when you express such thoughts? Yourself, your nation or something else? Whatever it is, you are discrediting it.

You never stop amusing the public...

You are now telling us that US Department of State is cooking US history.

Job well done, Sir! :bounce:

The impressions in the document are that of Nixon and Kissinger.

Unfortunately the threat that is most immediate for Indians is internal. However; it is clear they not prepared to acknowledge it and this attitude may be as dangerous as the threats it faces to the economic performance and cohesion we all wish will grow

We do recognize our threat... but you have to realize terrorism is a major bugger to deal with.
