Re: above, Banglore beat Mumbai, that's the power of hi-tech. Delhi is picking up nicely.
  • India's mega economy implies 1 Billion sq. ft. requirement in it's above mega cities
Correct me if wrong, NY-London-Toronto are around a 1 Billion sq. ft. over 100 yrs. or more.

The Indian commercial real estate market is on Globalization steroids unlike above (India is the office of the world) re: BPO, Outsourcing and IT plus top local India related demand, perhaps including regional operations too re: Globally fastest growing Indian economy. Indian commercial real-estate Co.'s may be good investment.

  • 1.5 million high-to-highest level jobs @ 100 sq. ft. average per head, all over India.
This is premium Grade A commercial real estate, there is probably at least as much Grade B,C,D grade office spaces also. Only in the high end sectors dominated by IT, ITeS etc.

Unbelievable news. India will do well to sew up these multi-lateral deals first with the basket of currencies the the Indain Rupee is pegged to like British Pounds, Korea, American Dollar, Singapore, Petro Dollar economies and Russia. Just remembered there is already BRICS.

Mate I. have been to india....landed in delhi and travelled westwards to jaipur. Lovely country and trust me its not this clean or road this perfect. Indians would have you belive they have the perfect everything but reality we all know. Cows sitting on highways and traffic stops as no one can move the cow. Garbage everywhere and poor people that are all missing feom these pictures
Hi @snow lake
I was randomly going through this thread and saw your replies and I strongly feel this is in accurate and needs clarification. Actually, this question is very tricky(the question of cleanliness) and depends on where you have been to in India. In general North India is less clean vis-a-vis south India. If you notice, most of the pictures posters have posted are of industrious west or south. India's western regions-notably Gujrat and Maharashtra are one among the highly industrialized states in India. Same is the case with South India, it is on an average much more clean vis-a-vis North. Higher levels of industrialization leads to higher literacy rates and lower fertility rates, this in turn translates into better civic sense and cleanliness.
If you visit, South Indian states like Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra you'll not only find very high levels of industrialization but also very good civic sense. Most of the top 20 clean Indian cities happen to be from South with exception of perhaps indore or bhopal.
I'd also like to add that unlike Pakistan, even the tier-2 cities in India are getting metro rails, in fact your Jaipur has a metro(although the industrialization there pales in comparison to south Indian giants!). Public transportation in India is way better that it's neighbors with Metro rail already functioning in 10-15 Indian cities and under construction in almost 10 more!

Correction - TN is the most industrialised state with the second largest GDP.
https://www.businesstoday.in/curren...ustrialised-states-in-india/story/238337.html

TN and industry is old news, centuries old; but industrialization in UK* is un-believable.
  • UK is more industrialized on a per capita basis Vs. TN, and also on a time line basis re: it's new-ness
UK is in North Vs. TN in the deep South ... deepest ;) !

Baap-re
- Indian manufacturing or should I say ... hehe ... 'North' Indian manufacturing.

UK* = Uttara-Khand
