India Beats North America, Europe, & Japan In 2017 Solar Additions
Those aggressive auction timelines by the central and several state governments in India have finally resulted in the Asian giant taking the limelight in the global solar power market.
According to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), India overtook the continents of North America and Europe, as well as Japan, in terms of solar power capacity added during 2017. This is no mean feat given these continents and countries have several times India’s installed solar power capacity.
India added 9,628 megawatts of solar power capacity in 2017, up from 4,251 megawatts in 2016. The United States added 8,173 megawatts of solar power capacity last year compared to 11,274 megawatts in 2016. The total solar power capacity added in North America (the United States, Canada, and Mexico) was 8,584 megawatts.
All the countries in Europe added a cumulative 5,912 megawatts last year, while Japan added 7,000 megawatts, down from 8,300 megawatts in 2016. We had reported last year that India would be likely to overtake Japan as the third-largest solar power market in terms of new capacity added. However, the slowdown in capacity addition in the United States has put India right behind China.
India is third in Asia in terms of operational solar power capacity, behind China and Japan. China added just over 53 gigawatts of solar power capacity in 2017, and retained the leadership position. Just over 72 gigawatts of solar power capacity was added in all of the Asian countries.
Globally, a total of 93,752 megawatts of solar power capacity was added last year.
India could manage to beat some of the most developed solar power markets globally due to the government’s thrust to push solar power as a major source of power generation. The central government set very ambitious solar power targets which percolated to the states.
India plans to hold auctions for 30 gigawatts of solar power capacity each in FY2018-19 and FY2019-20 in an attempt to reach the 100 gigawatt operational solar power capacity target by March 2022.

For years, Israel has been providing India with world-leading expertise and technology to help the larger nation combat these issues.
Good but not even closer to Gigantic size of Motorways being built by Pakistan, once complete they would connect
Kabul with Peshawar(M-11)
Peshawar with Islamabad(M-1)
Islamabad with Lahore(M-2)
Lahore with Karachi(M-3/4/5/6/9)
Karachi with Gwadar(M-8/9)
Sialkot to Lahore(M-11)
All these Motorways are interlinked,of you would start from Kabul, you can go to anywhere from Gwadar, karachi,Lahore,Amritsar to China.
This would be connected with AH-7,Asian Highway number 7,which starts from Russia and Ends in Karachi Pakistan.
From Lahore it would touch Indian AH-1 via wagha.
If india becomes part of it,this network would connect Kabul with Indian AH-1,journey from Kabul to Delhi would be 1200 km,which would take almost 15 hours, from Amritsar,it would take 10 to 11 hours.
All Motorways are access controlled and a seprate police force is responsible for LE duty on it.
On topic a huge chunk of it is already complete and working.
Dude, there's no comparison between motorways built and being built in Pakistan with express ways of India, You should compare Indian express ways with express and highways of Pakistan if you want to feel good. And stop tagging me with your never-ending Janams with new IDs as I am not interested in developing India as it's none of my business nor it effects me in anyway.
Dude are you still under the impression that Pakistan=India? How many Kms of road construction happening in pakistan per day and what is the total length of pakistan roads and road density? Yes it is easy to construct in your country, as you have limited areas and connecting few big cities, unlike India where we have almost 45 cities to be connected and length and breadth all over india, since almost all parts of india is habitant.Balochistan province comes almost 1/3rd of pakistan and road density of balochistan is very less.So you have to concentrate just 2/3 of a country and so the fund and so the scale of project.Just from below space picture from NASA, you can understand the size of both road networks and its coverage.

Your IQ level is too low to understand that geographically Pakistan is many times smaller than India with more than 60% area sarparsly populated, desert or mountains. So, there's isn't that much room for building new roads except connecting some remote under developed areas. And we don't have any itch to build roads over mountains and deserts where nobody lives just to look good in NASA's space maps, We are in phase of building motorways and upgrading highways. We can't even talk about motorway with you as you can't understand what it is because you have none. Now stop wasting my time by inviting for d!ck measuring contest and enjoy the courtesy of Pakistani administration for allowing you have thread, post whatever developing India you want but ofcours without annoying tags.
India highways as of June 2017 measure > 115,435 km
Pakistan highway length- 4266 Km
Indian highway construction/day -23 Kms
Pakistan- No data
Widest Indian expressway- 14 Lanes
Widest pakistan-10 Lanes(partially operational)
Length of expressway in India-1581 Km
Length of expressway in pakistan-260 Km
Length of expressway aims in India by 2022-18637 Kms
Length of expressway under const/proposal in pakistan - 969 Kms
Above data take into consideration of below link and its updates...

Unfortunately your IQ is soo high that you could not able to understand that even with your less geographical size, there is no match with proportions as well vs India. You need small budget since you are covering small area to bother and also maintenance cost.Open your eyes and see Mumbai-Pune expressway,Delhi-Meerut expressway,Gurgaon expressway and many others don't be like frog in a well...
