'Kaleshwaram' World's biggest irrigation project- Almost 12 billion dollar project (underconstruction)

The project is all set to create a world record in the first week of August when the gigantic pumps with a capacity of 139 MW each will start lifting 2 thousand million cubic feet (TMC) of water per day. It will receive water from Medigadda Barrage on Godavari River through a 14.09-kilometre (km) long underground tunnel, the longest irrigation tunnel in the world. The pumps would operate at a cavern and surge pool which also holds a record for being the biggest in the world with a capacity to hold 2 crore litres of water. “This is the first time in the world that an irrigation project is using 139 MW pumps to lift huge volume of 2 TMC of water

Why pakistan fail to have mega projects like happening in India on all fields? Is it because as below or all...

1. Lack of money?
2. Lack of technology?
3. Lack of skilled people?
4. Lack of leadership?
5. Lack of security?
6. Lack of will power?
7. Lack of demand?
8. Lack of Multi national companies?
9. Lack of vision?
10. Lack of resources?

Look, we all know you are just point scoring with this post. If you really want something to brag about, brag about the toilets... oh right.

As for Paksitan, we just voted in PTI who'se political agenda is development and raising of the HDI of Pakistan. So lets see what happens in the next 5 years.

I can cite a lack of vision and failure to build proper implement organizations are the two factors that a country fails to pursue a grand public works project. Govt civil engineers are required to do their respective part of the work only. So, it is the visionary political leaders who may propose such a large project like this irrigation project.
