US Defense Sec.'s (Minister) visit to India means bonanza for the nascent
  • US-Indian-Military-Engineer-Industrial-Complex = Good Business (specially 3'rd party)
However, this is the tip-of-the-iceberg re: meta level India-US co-operation.

- Gen. Mattis is a true blue American (Mad dog) intellectual!

US and India are natural, new age friends and allies going back to WW II times. The Cold War was a time warp.
The ex USSR was giving away freebies and a poor, post Colonial India (just like post Colonial US) played the cold war game in USSR's camp. India being India, it switched sides to re-align with it's natural buddy the US.

India also was and is big on 'non-aligned' - meaning it's got a mind of it's own.

Finally, it's played all sides to grow the kind of balls with Gandhian humility to an invite to the big boys table.

India will continue ... chechk:

What Keshu bhai and Modi did after earthquake in Kutch is a master piece of rehabilitation work.

Compare this with latur where sharad pawar got a lots of money which he ate and digested. This is a difference between a corrupt and an honest government.

Low COst houses for poors in Surat.

I put together a collage of India's current and concept electric vehicles. The majority are Indian OEM products under their own brands. The others are India focused. And the biggies Maruti-Suzuki, Tata Jaguar Land Rover + Daewoo Bus & Trucks, Mahindra SSangyong, Ashok Leyland, Eicher, Escorts and newbies like Jindals and smaller others are fully committed to electrics already.
