India Developing, but still a long way to go

These Talgo coaches should be made in India, instead of importing. Guess, it will be done, once they are tested and certified for Indian conditions.

Do you honestly think thousands of such coaches will be imported.Only the test coaches have been imported,if approved then Talgo will have to set up factory in India

Awesome, when can we expect it to start operating in India commercially?
If trials go well, perhaps we can see Talgo 250 as early as in 2 years time on New Delhi Kota Mumbai sector. These trains will have travel time of around 11 hours against 16 hours taken by Rajdhani Express presently.

.
Talgo 250 trials have begun. The train shall be tested shortly at 150 kph behind a WDP4.

The pic shows WDM3D and EMD at both ends of the consist. Will both power or one will be dead ?

And EMDs have a MPS of 130KMPH , and have been reportedly tested near 180KMPH light , it will be pushing the loco also to its limit.
