I feel this could be a 'vertical' version for the great Asian 'joint family' house where each 'box' is jointly owned!

Marketing it so would open up a viable funding option for the builder's, retain continuity and tradition for joint families yet provide sustainable options for city living ;) . Ingenius adaptation, me-says.
