You need a super accurate Intermediate Ranged ballistic missile to take out an AC.

well as some members have pointed out actual range of Brahmos is much more than 290 KM

but i think anti ship version of Shaurya or 1000 KM AS version of Agni 1 is necessary

Brahmos is a very potent weapan limited only by its range. Though the current 290 km range is little less, the limitation will be overcome once we get the air launch version of it.

I personaly expect 3 Brahmos per MKI ang Mig29K. With this we can easily strike any place within 1500km redious and thats prity good.

Tejas and Arjun are not fail. They are just overdue.

Dear Chinese,
Brahmos is downgraded variant of Moskit completely made by Russian kits in India . India only paid for it and has no contribution . Unfortunately Brahmos missile doesnt know this and it knows only how to penetrate and destroy the carrier .
Warning : It works even when our SCS friends use it with out the permission of Russia .

actually range of Brahmos is fixed at 290 km because of MTCR rules.also,as Brahmos is a supersonic cruise missile,it has to sacrifice range.I know about su-30 mki upgrade but Mig 29k is not capable to carry Brahmos.right??

Arjun is deployed...Arjun Mk II is in trial.

Tejas is waiting for final operational clearance and Tejas Mk II is being built.

LMAO...you call that development ...you guys didn't contribued anything : hire western consultant for the design, buy engine, avionic for western, buy high grate steel from Russia...sure that's India's way of development.

Than later when Western countries found out that Indian be pontentialy competitor, then they just drag the feets to slow down India's project or blackmail to get more high profitable defence contract in order to get any assistance from them.

These two project are not overdue...it's bcos India don't know how to continue when western put a break on its...if Indians know how to finish its..they certainly won't wait for as long as 30 years...Claiming that Development take time is just another way to put head into the sand.

...and yes so much for stealing and copy tech...we evil Chinese are able to put our war machine operation without western interference or assistance

Sometimes I feel why you are so eager to open up your foolishness in front of the world. The design, development is Indian, engine is foreign but made in India, avionics are Indian, high grade steel are developed and produced in India.
