India: Dangerous heat to intensify this week after arriving unusually early

Govt should lookout for Permanent solutions instead of shortsighted plans.

Preference should be given to planting & protecting trees, stop deforestation and leveling hills should avoided to protect environment.

Its pity that during times of Kings & Rajas they gave priorities to natural environment while development infrastructures but now a days cutting trees to widening roads & leveling century old ponds & hills are considered development.
This happens due to El-Nino and La-Nino cycle. Nothing extra much. However it disturbs the whole year the weather for at least six months which means it will have impact on next Mansoon as well.

In this type of dry heat.. nothing better than a desert cooler bro.. AC's r only good just before monsoon when humidity start killing you.
Desert Cooler/Air Cooler is not going to work in coastal region like ours. It works may be above 200MSL.

India should make lots of Lakes and reservoirs. And plant lots of trees near the reservoirs.

India should cloud seed over mountains. Clouds are easy to precipitate over mountains.
Store the extra rain in reservoirs and send the extra water into ground water table.
Water table is a natural water reservoir.
Then use Windmills to pump out the water from Water table.

i have only experienced 39-40 degree before in my city, usually 2-3 days per year. It used to be 5-10 days per year, don't know why it has been getting cooler these years. But I think the most terrible weather is not heat, 30 degree with 100% humidity is way more unbearable than 40 degree with 50% humidity. My city is called one of the 4 hot pots in China not because of the number of barometer, but because of humidity from rivers and lakes. I will start using A/C when the number hit 32 degree.
You are so right. I visited Eastern Anatolia last year. Usually, it's hot in Summer and very cold and snowy in Winter. But believe me, I had no problems with 36 degree and a very dry climate. The same month İ visited Germany. It was only 28 degree but very humid. Personally, I would always prefer a hot but dry climate over humid weather.

Agree.
But humidity is good for girls' skin.
China's four cities of "furnace" are famous for girls who have spotless skin.

Is there something we can do about that high pressure area?

Maybe use some sort of weather-related technology like cloud seeding to make it rain early or something?

That would be tough because high pressure areas have no moisture to work with. They are like a magnifying glass like barrier. They are pure opposites of moisture attraction (low pressure area) who in turn can produce in extreme cases the hurricanes/cyclones. Its why high pressure areas are often called anticyclone.
