I do believe things will change after some decades. In case the border dispute between this two country was settled down, they will walk more closer just like China and Russia. If cooperation brings benefits, fighting brings losses, why will China and India choose fightings? I don't see other troubles between this two countries except border dispute. Why cann't they be good neighours? People of both country may easily accept and appreate each other if they gain development from cooperation.
I'd like to see one day both India and Pakistan join SCO as well. And China can invite India,Pakistan and Russia to attend the her air force exercise, just like US red flag exercise, it must be amasizing.

Because the Indians refused the offer of China recognizing Aranchal pranchai (south Tibet) as indian but indian need to recongize Aksai China as Chinese territory. The greedy hindus want both. China is not going to agree and rightfully so.

You're thinking of a few years back in 2011-2012, when the difference was 4x.

The difference as of 2013 is now 5x.

9.2 trillion vs 1.8 trillion, is slightly over five times.

When the 2014 data comes out, no doubt the gap will increase further. We have a much larger base economy and a faster percentage growth rate too, it makes sense that the gap continue to get larger every year.
