What's new

India brings no cheer to garment exporters

Here is the UK, Indian woman canot get enough of BD and Pakistani men.:azn:

Indian men as seen as effiminate.

When BD men are busy marrying other men now? Yeah ok......setting new firsts for muslim community as always, it helps your stereotype so much too lol.

BD people are just girly men that get beaten up a lot (chagu-type or not) and struggle to make a living. You lot still aren't earning per capita in the UK what Indians were in the late 80s....thats friggin pathetic....and you think any good women find poverty stricken, welfare dependent, unhealthy (dont make me post the medical studies again), IQ stunted, vertically challenged and generally worthless looking slavedeshis attractive in the least? LOL. Whatever floats your boat buddy....I guess those at the bottom rung of the ladder (esp permanently so) do the most fantasizing anyway.

I mean come on, we have relationships 13 times more with White British people than you lot do...with what 3 times the number of ppl?:

Unlike your internet knowledge I live in the UK.

BD and Pakistani guys are seen as far more attractive by women of all races.:agree:
Indian men are seen as mostly nerds and wimps.

So keep reading internet nonsense while some of us are living this reality.

BD'shis have one of the highest genetic diversity
in the world. We come in all types.
True there are a lot of unattrative BD men but there are also a lot of BD men that women of all races like in the UK.

Worry not, Indian men are rated higher than
Sri Lanka men here at least.

I have been to UK many times, I know what people think of Bangladeshis there.

It's not too different from how they are seen here in Canada and in the US too (when people even know what a Bangladeshi is in the first place....normally they are just referred to as a much poorer kind of Indian).

People that earn less than half or even a third of another group simply end up making ludicrous (verbal) claims much more and try pass off as "reality" because simply the numbers and actual statistics do not support anything they say....and there is no BBS available in the West to hide the reality of their very much concrete inadequacies. Its the butthurt complex basically.

Really really pathetic to see Bangladeshis today still not being able to meet Indian incomes in the late 80s in the UK...and whats worse BD incomes are stagnating at the low level they are at.

https://www.gov.uk/government/publi...by-ethnicity-tax-years-19941995-to-20122013uk

I mean 70% of BD people in UK are in low income households....and you talking about being "attactive" lol....when I already gave you the UK own statistics on inter-ethnic relationships. No one likes poor ugly people like you ok? Sod off.

.
NO point in bad-mouthing good quality Bangladeshi RMG, it's not in your price range. Like exposed in another thread, you were complaining about not being able to afford $5 shirts...

Like I've said before, dogs keeping on barking doesn't matter to a moving caravan...

Let Indians keep subsidizing, at twice the labor rate in India, we'll see how far they can go....

As regards to India imposing CVD for Bangladeshi products - I believe Kolkata people have a saying, 'Nijer nak ketey porer jatra bhongo' (Cutting off one's nose to spite the face)

Why import cotton from India? Let them sell it to Vietnam. We are too easy a market for them. We should impose tit-for-tat CVD on Indian Cotton and decrease or negate duties for Chinese and Pakistani cotton altogether to make up the shortfall. Tighten up Indian imports and Indians will sing to a different tune.

Shameful. Simply Shameful. In spite of Indian bullying on every front including defense, water-sharing, Felani and other border-killing episodes, ....Bangladeshis have neither shame nor backbone I'm afraid....is this what million laid down their lives for in 1971? Freedom fighters are turning over in their graves.....

Abdul Matlub Ahmad (of 'Nitol-Tata' fame), Apologist for Indian companies and Bootlicker Agent extraordinaire. Specializing in selling off his own country for a few personal dollars from Tata, Hero Motorcycles et al for the last thirty five years.

I'm surprised no local industrialist has spoken up about these Indian apologists like Matlub because they are the number one reason for hurting the prospects of local industry and exports.

Matlub's BS pronouncements about wanting to improve 'floundering exports to India' is simply hogwash. He knows it as a foregone conclusion and so does the local politicians he has on his bribe list. As long as he is in charge of exports to India, nothing good will come of it. He will ensure the same.

And with good reason too. Who in Bangladesh wants to bother with exporting to India....

Majority of Indian traders have an unfortunate reputation about being 'frauds and cheats', pulling off all sorts of charades regarding banking letters of credit. If you don't believe me - Google it sometime.....

Lol. India has 12% import duty of garments from any country. As if we are not bringing down BD industry. After GST we imposed lots of taxes of mobiles and its components for import. None of the Chinese or Americans cried foul. Instead they focused on making the mob cheaper with same performance and creating factories in India.

What Bangloldeshis daily do is cry, cry and cry alone blaming India. The moment BD loses LDC status it will lose half of its exports to India and Vietnam as it no longer receive tax benefits. Make your industry competitive. India have a large requirement and most importantly our industries have capacity and tech to meet our population.

Its probably going to happen sooner than most think.

When I was looking up the LDC stuff earlier, BD is very close to graduating in 2 remaining categories out of total of 3 (1 they already meet the threshold already). Next meeting for determining this is next year I think (2018) and then there is 3 year window of graduation to prove no reversal. Means BD can lose LDC status completely by about 2021....and with that means they lose the quotas...the timing may be pretty bad for them given they are still lethargic in developing anything else industry-wise.

There will be no crying. Only tit-for-tat CVD and other duties imposed on Indian imports and even banning total categories if deemed as dumping as I've mentioned. We can play at this Bharti game just as good as your govt.

So let's wait for the axes to fall. In fact some have already fallen. :-)

@Khan saheb bhai please confirm if possible....:-)

Your RMG Industry's entire backward supply chain comes from Indian supply chain. If you tax your supply chain you are only killing your competitiveness.

.
Bngldh RMG are only good to used as rags to wash floors with. There isn't any of substance produced in that country.

I see no reason to bad mouth Bangladeshi products. producing quality textiles is not easy. It is not rocket science either

Its good our industries have evolved. Tirupur was hard hit when its industry were stopped on account of environmental pollution. It has nearly taken a decade for them to come back again and dominate the exports with new tech. BD's tech is still pre Tirupur and when some Western govt enact laws to procure only from Green friendly industries, BD's will get a double blow.

Hope they change with technology instead of whining or lose their exports to India and Vietnam after losing LDC status.

Enjoy feeling crap everytime you look in a mirror.

that's why 90% of germans wear bangladesh RMG product... are you saying germans are poorer than indians?

i dont understand why indians got headache in matters regarding bangladesh? be it good or bad? they should learn to mind their own fucking business.

Currently there is complete ban on import of 25 items from India including Textiles & all types of clothing. This list is growing with time & more items will be banned as local industrial capacity expands.

Its good our industries have evolved. Tirupur was hard hit when its industry were stopped on account of environmental pollution. It has nearly taken a decade for them to come back again and dominate the exports with new tech. You have no idea on the matter of RMG sector in Bangladesh. Please do your research before talking nonsense.

Bangladeshi RMG sector is evolving with time & it's very much vibrant. Many Green factories are in operation & many are getting built. And more investment on Green RMG factories are in pipeline. Actually last year seven BD RMG factories made it into the world top ten list of Green RMG factories. So please don't talk about something you don't know.

And no when it comes to RMG & being a LDC it's not BD which is crying & whining. Supopawa India is crying & whining to EU for decades to get equal tax exemption & quota equal to a LDC BD. Now go cry more.
