Yes I was wondering when reading title, how come india was able to "BLOCK" anything without veto?

The situation was clear, US blocked that, in favor of india's argument.

How come the title is so wrong, even unfactual?

We saw under the previous government in Sri Lanka that even they can be turned fully pro-China (which was unthinkable in decades past). Same can be done with Bangladesh as the majority of the Bangladesh population despise India and only the old ruling regime has sympathy towards India. Bangladesh will eventually get a nationalist leader which will be pro-China.

China always has Pakistan on its side and China can bide its time to get the other 2 on its side.

Indian aggression against these countries will eventually drive them into China's lap.

That's when the ports China is developing in these countries can be turned into naval bases when the pro-China governments come to power in the future. India will be fully contained as the string of pearls are completed and established as the China-Pakistan-Bangladesh-Sri Lanka alliance takes shape. India will have nowhere to run.

Whatever the title say about "Blocking", center of the question is China blocking anything against Pakistan, and now US blocking as agreement to india's argument.

China and US should co-ordinate well on the agenda to avoid mutual blocking from happening again.
