No offence meant but this last line ruined your otherwise great post.
That sentence is the crux and essence of that "great post".

They say "lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics." And I can't think of better example then South Asia. I am convinced that the figures we get for Pakistan and India are fudged. Over the previous months I have yaken to enjoying youtube travel Vlogs in the evenings which replaced me watching crime series. Got sick of murder, rape and police investigations. Having watched lots of them from multitude of uploaders from across the world that give on the ground experiance of life on streets of India I conclude that the reality - India is probably slighter poorer then Pakistan. No amount of fudging can hide the reality on the ground.
The best example is watching vlogs of travellers driving from Indian Punjab but Pak Punjab across the Wagah border. Indian Punjab is one of the wealthiest states in India. Yet there appears to be no real economic differance between the Pak side and India side other than the marked increase in beggers and man pulled rickshaws on the Indian side.
Now go enjoy your numbers ......
India per capita GDP rank is a lowly 130th in the world matching the low intelligence quotient (IQ) of the native Indians.
The US has declared India as developed nation and India has declared itself as superpower...
India is now the undisputed Master of Asia!
As I said many times there's nothing to brag about producing more wealth than countries whose populations are about 67 millions when yours is more than 1,3 billion.
The real achievements which you could brag about would be to provide the same standards of living and quality of life, education, healthcare, public safety, justice, transports, social servcies etc. the citizens of France or the UK enjoy especially when you see the challenges facing south asia and the long way they have to go. You can brag about numbers but the reality of the ground is all different!
Is per capita GDP lower ranked or IQ?
You are right but it is good to have some milestones to achieve as otherwise you can easily lose focus.
Now that India has passed UK and France, then it can target Germany, Japan... etc.

Using fudged numbers? Or the reality on the ground? I am not denying India has made progress from what was abysmal state of affairs. But that is not saying much. There is no "economic wall" between India and Pakistan where millions look across with desire at the riches across in India like there used to be in the Iron Curtain in Europe or Hong Kong and mainstream PRC back in 1970s.Do open a thread to compare the state of two nations.
Yes. By pumping out per capita productivity. Not by pumping out billions of babies. 1.4 billion to be exact.Indus and the Wick can mock but every Pakistani general and politician would sell his whole family to become the 5th largest economy .
As I said many times there's nothing to brag about
AbsolutelyGood news. South Asia is making great progress. Interesting fact: did people know Pakistan's economy is larger then the most prosperous country on earth, Luxembourg with a GDP per capita of $113,000.
Luxembourg
GDP (nominal) 2019 estimate
• Total
$69.453 billion[3] (69th)
• Per capita
$113,196[3] (1st)
Pakistan.
GDP (nominal) 2019 estimate
• Total
$284.2 billion[15] (42nd)
• Per capita
$1,388[15] (148th)
Of course one Luxembourger earns more than 100 Pakistani's but hey who cares. Pakistan can gloat over the fact that it has bigger economy then the wealthiest country on earth. So can India. Now both can masturbate over "big, big" while being fcukin starving.
