We are going around in circles. This is my last post on this topic. This is what an typical Indian fisherman looks like.

It would be better to give cultural sensitivity training for your people who carry guns. (and maybe to all those who do not carry guns either)

Teaching maritime rules to a bunch of poor fishermen who risk their lives every day sailing into the ocean with a flimsy boat reeks of arrogance.

Indians should be free to move around in Indian territory without the risk of getting shot. Expecting the IA to provide escorts to Italian ship just to keep Indians safe is ridiculous.

To be honest i don´t see any difference to the pirates who roam the indian ocean. They also use such boats. And apparently indians aren´t free to move in indian territory without fear of being shot. They are not allowed to go at the airport wherever they want. There are security zones which must be accepted.

Beside that, i don´t expect your army to keep indians safe. I expect them to keep italians safe. Thats their duty as army to make sure, that india is a safe nation. The fishermen are responsible for themself. They aren´t small children. Speeding with high speed towards a ship, reacting to no warning is banned in maritime law. If you run around on a railway you also get crushed from the train. Indian fishermen are not stupid children. Maritiem law is same for them as for evryone else.

commercial business in italy is forced to pay a minimum wage. If the wage is too low the corporation is closed. We have social laws that prevent exploition of workers. Working conditions are strictly regulated in italy and the rest of EU as well.

So its not specific to india...All the workers are paid as per your law...I dont see any reason to believe that italy is a friend by that...

The law only affects italians and EU citizens. India is not part of the EU. Yet they are falling under that law and profit from it.

Your own government calls italy a close friend if india. You say our nations are not friends? You see us as enemies or what?

Italy never called india a 3rd world country. I did...and i feel sorry for that and apologied for that because saying that was stupid.

I know some european nations and USA often treated India bad...UK and colonialism...or USA and the Bhopal desaster...But italy never did such things and i´m scared that india want make an example on us for crimes we never did.

I hope you understand that italy is very worried at moment about all that. You are right...we did make mistakes in that case...but i hope indians understand we are punished enough already now.

I know india isn´t rude. We were rude...but we corrected that.Its just that this seems to take so much time. It is hard to accept that...we tend to be not very patient and all those delays are horrible for italy. Its like no end in sight. And i hope so much finally someone in india with influence ends that situation.

I believe that the previous female indian ambassador was strip searched at miami airport as well---I think last year.
