As an Indian Muslim I feel that partition was a big blunder. British wanted to divide Muslims so they wanted partition to happen. If India was undivided then we would be the post powerful nation in Asia. After turkey we would even see our own caliphate in India itself.

There would be no issues like Kashmir. Pakistan and bangladesh would have been stable too.

Good to know your opinion on the division...but being from a poor family whose family 2 generations back was in India...believe me partitioning was a blessing for us to move from all the oppression!

And when you talked about a Caliphate in India...I realize how much knowledge of Islam you have...very little!
