It seems epidemic because Indian media as well as public bring forth each case they encounter. It in itself is a great step towards curbing the problem.

The media shouldn't be blamed though. It is responsibility of the media to point out where evil and bad has happened so that the big wigs work to correct the problem. In other words its the medias job to point out the wrongs and evils in our society.

I didn't meant to blame them. Well true, it paints a big black mark on national image, but it is better than keeping quite and letting things happen. As I said, it is a step, a big one.
