You may be right, China gains the most. West gets high inflation and an erosion of trust in it’s capabilities, Russia will lose in the long run.

I don't understand how China gain much. Agree that Russia is getting weak but China having all the money could have helped it's only major ally to meet its objective. As per Chinese member there military equipment is second to none so they must have challenged the West with Russia and ended US hegemony all together. Taiwan is not going to be easy for them as Russia (whatever left of them) is not going to help China.

I think this is why Pakistan's foreign policy sucks as their establishment think same as these chhote jungi momins here on PDF.

Of course, India can have some negative consequences of this action. But the positive thing for India is, it can afford the after effects.
But I don't think, it's very easy for the US and the west to punish India.
US is much needed of India to exists in Asia.
And after 2 years, i think everyone is gonna forget and start the same thing as it was before the Ukraine crisis. Interests matters.

I didn't deny. We are in very tough situation right now first time in atleast last 30 years. But the situation is not that much worse now bcz today India stands powerful than before. It can afford consequences.
I really feel for Ukraine people but as an Indian, I think our govt has taken the right step.
Now you also gonna believe, that India's foreign policy is purely independent and based on its own interests. US and the west has 0% influence on India.

I have heard this logic a million times before. All this situation does is expose Indian weakness where it is unable to choose a side and provide clarity. At best this is appeasment of both sides.
