its a trap for India these western and Americans just want to make busy in each other two growing powers of Asia .India should reply no we are not tigers we are humans and we have to live with china as equal neighbor forever .

Well India has been suffering from its neighbours since it freed itself from the British.So we are a little too skeptical as to who is our neighbour to have peace with and not certainly after fighting 4 border wars in last decades. It doesnt matter whoese mistake it was but I guess the suspicion will last for coming decades as well unless doors open from either sides of our borders.

I will still accept our rivalry with China as a healthy one as there is no terrorism involved in it. Lets face the fact of teh century. We are not going to let China have its supermacy in Asia,while completely ignoring Indian Interests. either we co-exist or we die fighting for survival.

India defense is china centric. Mostly defensive. China is growing its power (May be to counter USA or may br to safe its economic status). But looking at the nature of communists, Its our duty to be prepared.

Communist China has tends to trouble it's neighbours. False claim on neigbouring country land and sea, can be seen as a prospect war. Communist china is not the same china what it was 100s of year ago. Its a demonic organistion ruled by Tyrannic communism.

I've also seen capitalism very closely (in Philippines, India, Thailand, Congo and Somalia). Nothing can be worse than capitalism for a developing country. More people have died due to capitalism in India alone in the past 100 years, than twice the sum of everyone who has ever died to communism.

Capitalist India has tends to trouble its neighbors. False claim on neighboring country land and sea, can be seen as a prospect war. Capitalist India is the exact same as the capitalist British Empire 100 years ago. It is a demonic organization ruled by a tiny hereditary dictatorship.

China defense is not India centric because India is too weak for us to center our defense on. But looking at the nature of capitalists and imperialists, its our duty to be prepared.

A confrontation with China is the last thing India wants. A war sends a developing country back in time - strips it of investment, brings destruction, changes the focus from social to a security state. I don't see any merit for India in taking China head on.

The same goes for China. Their priority right now is to expand their economic base and strangle the dollar. A war will put paid to their ambitions of becoming a world super power.

Not only that but they know that India is one of their biggest trading partners with a projected trade of $100 billion by 2015 from the approx $50 billion today. So what would be the point of war which would result in going back to square one. It's taken them a lot of effort to reach where they are today. Though the threat perceptions of each other remains, war is not on the horizon.
