A confrontation with China is the last thing India wants. A war sends a developing country back in time - strips it of investment, brings destruction, changes the focus from social to a security state. I don't see any merit for India in taking China head on.

Having said all that - our politicians need to wake the **** up. I give South block the credit for expanding our economic co-operation with China but simultaneously we need to build a credible defense force. We should be able to fight a limited high altitude war with a powerful enemy.

Some of them may be true but the question is why do you people think China wont or could not attack us??? They are already doing it wearing Pakistani mask. Mumbai Attack was one of them. Think....Does Pakistan has balls to carry out such attack without China watching their back??? Why dont people here see the Chinese assertion. The visa row, challenging Indian naval ship, blocking world bank loans to Arunachal Pradesh and what not?

We should not care what the **** China wants/ would do but we should be prepared for everything including full scale war with both of them.
