Point is simple. Poors will be given some help and they are given some help in India. All the government funded educational institues in India have programs to support poors. Muslims should not expect any special handouts. They are economically some backward areas , she had shared some details but i honestly dis not pay lot of attention, snd lot has skipped my memory. In nutshell, they said congress was still better , and mentioned that poverty has become v widespread and the poverty part is not with regards to faith, but in general. Whether muslim, hindu etc etc.
sikhs are not poor these people are from punjab state which is one of the wealthiest states.
If Sikhs, Parsis, Sindhis who came completely broke from outside India during partition and Jains can become affluent then there is no reason why common Muslims cannot. BTW, all of the these classes have one thing in common. They have business know how embedded in their families. It takes just few opportunities and they flourish their businesses from nothing to big money. Muslims have a tight cohesion among themselves and can do the same.
