Increase in Operational Cost of Tejas LCA

Sure Hal must be made as you said . But we have to stop other players entering Aircraft making ? I dont know the reason . Dont you think HAL is highly corrupted to its core sir ?

No, the main problem lies in HAL management due to DPSU. If we make HAL corporation then nobody hold major stake in company to risk to give a bribe or make cartel to for the sake of more profit. HAL is 70 year old company which have all facilities to become a aerospace gaint if properly utilize it & other hand private companies with JV of foreign companies only can do mechanic work because they cannot absorb technology easily.

Why we go 50 year back when we have a experience company & only need to re organize its management & policy. We didn't barred anyone to enter in this field but this would not on sacrifice of HAL & NAL. GOI should launch IPO of their majority stake of both companies in public market.

Small example is artillery guns . DRDO cant come up with good Indian guns ? When private players already made one and waiting for test bed ? They are crying for Testing Ground for many years now .

Which company made their own gun except OFB. Everyone come of foreign gun with their own badge & assemble in India. Even OFB use Bofors blueprint & upgrade it.

If OFB is under corporation then it can easily do that work long ago.

There is flood in Karachi which makes impossible for JF-17 Thunder to land :chilli:

JF-17's do not operate from Karachi, and this post has been infracted for dragging in an off topic reference.

The blog seems to be written by a fanboy.. as their very title is misleading.
This is not an increase in operational costs, as those are related to how much it costs to fly the Tejas for the IAF per flight hour.
Those determine if the Tejas is cheap to operate or not. However, procurement cost..which this blog relates to is something that is rising for various reasons and does in essence contribute to lifecycle costs.
