To be fair I don't think he said anything wrong. It is small number of people who have very serious issues but what happened was a terrible thing. The operative words are -

Unfortunately there have been far more incidents of Islamic extremist terror in the last two decades then White supremacist terror events. We even have seen Muslim countries like Pakistan being torn apart.
