A qoute from the book of Zulfiqar ali bhutto, " Haqeeqat aur Afwah" or "Reality and Gossips" published in 1993 by His Daughter Benazir

A Classic case of How Pak Army Soldiers made sacrifices but the top order generals messed up the image of Pak army again and again. The Classic example of Ex Military Intelligence Chief Maj General Mian Ijaz Nadeem, whose bad advices to Pervaiz Musharraf caused havoc in Balochistan Province and allegedly sabotage any efforts for negotiations which were initiated by Chaudhary SHujjat Hussain at that time and advised musharraf to use force as a solution which he immediately agreed upom , and it is the same guy who ordered the operation in which Bugti Got killed. And when Gen Ashfaq Pervaiz Kiyani become COAS, He removed Nadeem Ejaz from MI, and made him Commander, Logistics Area (Comd Log Area), in Gujranwala and never promoted him,

This is how, Army acts to cover up their wrong deeds, they mildly punishing the Serving general by obstructing his Promotion or retiring him early with full benefits instead of court Marshalling him!!!!!

Mr Klasra could ve read some war history of 71 before going public with his ignorance !

Every Pakistani soldier and officer is Ihsan Malik.
Some embrace shahdat soon and some take time and in process become a legend of fear for our enemies.
World got to see many of same courageous Ihsans.

Ihsan Malik and all the soldiers who died in field and indian jails are sons of Pakistan.

What you mean by that Gunner. Please elaborate.

Areesh Dear, what i meant was that Capt. Ahsan Malik' story is well documented in the war history of 71 in both Pakistani and Indian versions. There is also a very detailed account of his famed 'defence of kamalpur' by Brian Cloughley.

If Mr Klasra had only heard of him through Gen Sam Manekshaw's interview, then he should have first gone through the documented history. To write a column claiming no one knows about the man seems absurd to me.
