In Future we should get Gripen NG for our AF

Let me tell you one thing about S300, LM says that F35 have enough stealth to pass through radars but Isreal insisted USA so many time for F22 bez they knew S300 real capability.

And about RAAD, only guys like you can relay on them for SEAD.

Also give them Babur Cruise Missiles about 3000 in the next 5 years and 500 Raad and 2 Sqauds of GRIpen with like 1000 SD 10 and PL-9C and Sniper pods and GBU-12 like 500 of them That will Take care of the indian Problem on the bangladesh Side for like net 3 decades

their Bara-h-mouse is still not deployable on any platform

like i said 3000 Babur 500 Raad and couple of other goodies indians wont dare look at bangladesh and dont forget the Cm400 like 300 of those then their will be no water problems for bangla

and NASTIK BANGLA DOnt BUY JF-17 if you dont want too BUT the Weapon package is far superior on Jf-17 and its tested in war then any other platform that european offers

Only US equipment,Pakistani/chinese equipment is tested even France use american Bombs when they go to war, Russian Equipment is a Failure of the century the only good thing about russia is its is some what advance in jet engine tech rest is a fail

GDP of Bangladesh as of 2010-11 is 112billions while if the growth rate was 6.3% in 2011-12fy than bangladesh most latest gdp figure is 119billions

Now consider that bangladesh GDP growth rate is average 7% for the next 5 years
119bn+(8.3bn or 7%)=2012-13 GDP=127.3bn in 2013

Quick calculation
2014=136bn
2015=146.4bn
2016=157bn
2017=169bn
2018=173-74bn


Now considering that they take upto 2% of gdp as defence budget
So by 2018 Considering the gdp is 173bn there defence budget would be=3.7bn

So by 3.7bn budget it is still much possible to buy a squadron of Gripen and that cost can be adjusted over a few years

Bro, Gripen NG is a good Fighter AC. In west Gripen have to compit with F-35. Many country rejected Gripen NG and going for F-35. And you know in paper F-35 is better than Gripen NG. Do you think JF-17 can compit with F-35?

Yep, it is not F-35 class fighter. But it can give a good compition.

No. NG's flight hour cost will be more than current Gripen. Although engine is more fuel efficient but don't confuse that it will consume lesser fuel than current one; on the other hand it will give more power than per unit of fuel consumption. So engine can be more fuel hungry. And may be more complex.

Except the engine there are also other things which demands more care from user, especially in avionics front. NG will use more versatile avionics than current model. So over all NG flight hour cost surely much higher, may be in multiple of current.

NG structure is redesign for heavier payload, which also wants more monitoring & maintenance from current versions.
