Ahhh...Lifespan has nothing to do with being starved to death. Currently, my estimated lifespan is about 80-something yrs, but if I do not eat for a few weeks, I will die within those weeks.

In biology, lifespan is defined as how long an organism can function with all the necessary life sustaining factors such as food, water, and air. Other contributing factors are nutrition, evolution, and environment. Being deprived of food, water, and air are artificial constraints to life of ONE individual organism, but has no effects on the rest of the group as long as they have access to food, water, air, improved nutrition, continuous evolving, and cleaner environment.
