So how will the people be freed from the hegemony created by the fauj unless bullets start flying?
The only way to defeat the fauj seems to be on the ground, with blood and sweat. Even if they declare martial law, I doubt they would be able to properly quell a revolution of a couple of million civilians who have taken up arms- my guess being that the numbers may indeed be a lot higher if IK calls for this.

The issue is rooted in the fauj, and they fauj need to be removed from their hegemonic position by force unless they reduce their own power and head back to the barracks, which is an extremely thin probability

That is simply not true.

The way these things work is complicated and nuanced. Not all of the army is bad. There are bad apples at the top- they have enough support that they can get bad things done.

The best way to remove them is to not give them an excuse to escalate which is precisely what they want. after you are in power, pass laws to reform the army and remove the bad apples or stop apples from behaving badly.

This is a case of nerves and who slips up first. The only reason they are trying to get IK killed is precisely because there is a clock that is running out and they can see what will happen when it does.

Don’t give them an excuse to do what they want to do. Shut up and go defend Khan -make sure he stays alive. Then go vote him in in the next elections.
