LCH first flew in 2010 and there are two prototypes flying. The 3rd one will be made this year and that's basically the production model.

I think the Chinese one looks better design. Big landing gear meaning when crashed landed , it will have a better chance of survival. The India counterpart one is so small. Not good for survival of crashed land.

Because LCH is light helicopter hence small landing gear . Morover size is not the only thing that affects strength .

The co seater on WZ-10 is position higher, meaning both main pilot and his assistant have good view and situation awareness of the surrounding. While India one both pilot are seating near to each other height, obstruct the view of assistant.

The design like WZ10 was first considered later rejected in favour of this one.

The Chinese one also most likely apply with RAM coat to reduce RCS.

Can be done to any chopper.
