LAHORE: US press attaché in embassy in Pakistan Elizabeth Carlton said the most important duty of the media is to broadcast the true news stories in accordance with the public benefit.
Addressing a seminar at the topic of Media Coverage in Emergency Situation held with collaboration of Lahore Press Club and US Consulate, she said it happens several times in the emergency situation when the media persons finds it difficult to decide what to show on media and what not.
On this occasion, US Consulate Principal Officer Brian DeHunt was also resent.

Normally saying the we have four pillers of state:
We normally observe that, the politicians (elected adminstration) manipulate the matters in front of public with the help of media but on certain serious issues. like In USA, the adminstration make their peoples fool on the issue of War on terrorism" (their self-designed and executed drama of 9/11 to take a stand for WOT aganist muslims all over the world particularly and put them under heavy burdon of Taxes. all of their Media make wrong reporting as Bush adminstrations pay for it. Similarly we can observe in our loving country that, Media perform not well by reporting single sided special effects, and try to impose the news or comments on the public instead to cummunicate the facts and realities as neutral counterpart of state.
In fact Unfortunatly in our Loving mother land -The Pakistan, all four pillers we have, are corrupt and trying to make fool to the peoples. this is the main reason of the deprivation of our country and their is no chance of development despite of abundance of resources,
Economic growth, coupled with good governance, may yet prove to be a source of solutions rather than problems.
We can not even sustain rather towards development, Unless true & sincerere painstaking, foresight and intelligence are applied to the satisfaction of these people's needs.
