What's new

Importance of being Narendra Modi!

Modi which may fulfill your dreams to throw out all the Muslims of India
:disagree:
Not in India!
Remember APJ Abdul Kalam?

Btw India is one of those countries where ppl from all the religions have been living in harmony since long.
Did you know World's second mosque was built in India while prophet was still alive?? Cheraman juma masjid, Kerala.
It's still intact. Google it!

We also have Jews, Jains,Buddhists,Sikhs,Christians living peacefully in our country. Religious harmony is not new to us.

Ciao!

.
And that mosque was build by invaders
???
You're ill informed.
The construction of the mosque was initiated by non-Muslims aka Hindus. It was a Hindu King who gave the land for the mosque.
any India Muslims was not allowed to perform Qurbani even goat qurbani being killed / raped for eating beef...Goons patrolling streets not to save the women but to kill the cow smugglers. Waoo Incredible India
If you have anything to contribute then you're welcome. Or just buzz off.
I don't entertain trolls on my threads.

APJ Abdul Kalaam was just a rubber stamp nothing more like our Mamnoon Hussain....

There are more than 15 Indians on this forum with APJ Kalam's pic as their profle pic, he was no puppet Prez like your mamnoon. He was well respected Indian author, scientist & leader.

Modi has proved to be over hyped just like Obama... both have done a few things to their credit... but fell short of expectation....
Even though Modi govt has shown better governance than congress(at least on paper), it has created more division in the society. The rising hindu fundamentalism was laughed away by most people who bargained economic prosperity(in return they will ignore whatever his history was in relation to minority). Its never going to happen, india is a secular tolerant country, everybody said. Even now most of them are in denial.
Like a frog slowly boiled in water, people cant perceive the change that is happening to our society. In future we will be showing picture how we used to be, like egyptians, iranians or afgans... and be wondering how this happened.
Unfortunately the biggest supporters are overseas Indians, who are safe in tolerant, secular western republics and want better right for themselves in their new countries.

.
Modi wear every thing he find wearable so prediction may be for someone more sane and without blood on his hands.
hat-15.jpg

What do you mean wearable? It is tradition. Not Modi ji's choice.

That is a traditional tribal headgear called dumuluk in our state of Arunachal Pradesh.

Locals always greet the PM with their traditional attire and gifts.

Personality worship is the worst sin to commit in leadership. Modi's division is not as such his own doing as much as his need to appease his core power base which he sees as key to maintaining his power and implementing his legacy.
That his is what makes him potentially dangerous to India, more than anything else.

When you have someone focused on putting themselves at the center of attention( and that does not go to say his appeal to certain sections of the masses and the image is without benefits) it tends to become more of their interest than that of the country. While this is true for many a world leadership; there are those that compromise at some point.

Ill leave it to something that Obama said which suits all, the Longer in power you are and the more power you have; the greater the potential for disaster.

Now I wait for the derailing C'iyas from your side to come in with tangential BS. Gotta get my pink wand ready.

@Levina Do you happen to know the history behind why only subcontinent Muslims sacrifice cows on Eid al Adha? It must have been politically motivated.
Sure, politically motivated since cows are found nowhere in the world besides India :disagree:. Self importance much?

We don't need the certificate of a Pakistani muslim about how we handle our people in the country.

Don't like it for all we care. Hate our choice or whatever you like.
You cant deny the opinion either. Try to push that opinion out and you face me.
As for your certificate; I can see the standards slipping towards near genocidal tendencies.

It will take you a little more than reading a few online articles to be an Indian, buddy.

You need to stay here to understand the politics.

This isn't Britain which by the way is close to becoming another stan.

Face you? What do you mean?

I am proud of my PM and the fact that all the political bullshit against an innocent man ultimately proved false and truth prevailed.

Yes he is Hindu and he is a nationalist. So what is wrong with that?

Your kind for years used to taking over through either force or deceit cannot digest him and hence are having such a hate.
As for your certificate; I can see the standards slipping towards near genocidal tendencies.

Oh you would know it, wouldn't you?

Seems familiar with your history and all that isn't it? ;)

Don't worry no one will be forcing you to wear a burkha ... you can roam around in bikini on Goa beaches.

The vast majority of his core base are people who are tired of corruption and ineptitude and looking for development and modernization. That makes him potentially dangerous to Pakistan not India. I think most Pakistanis understand this , hence the adamant stand against him. Anyone but Modi is good for Pak.

over hyped just like Obama

Dude, Obama pulled up a country that when he took office could have gone into the deepest recession into one of the few countries in the developed world with decent growth rate.

He passed the health care act (obamacare) which provides a health safety net to millions of uninsured.

He untangled US to a great extent from Bush's wars in the Middle East. Libya was done with minimum pain to US and maximum pain to Gadaffi

He revived the US automobile industry which was almost dead when he took over.

He made peace with Iran

He made peace with Cuba...for the first time Americans are traveling to Cuba.

I can keep going with the list...you could do a lot worse than Obama ...Pakistanis don't like him, but he is head of state of US not Pakistan.

How is India's development and modernization linked to Pakistan all the time? Please remove your hateful glasses and think beyond Pakistan for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If Pakistan had not problem then Indians are happy living in poverty? Grow up.

Ironically, my stand with Modi has been complete opposite; suggesting that he could be the one to create peace. However, I have maintained that his core powerbase of extremist Hindus and his ego is a problem and continue to maintain it.

i am not taking away any of his successes, but the nobel prize was premature(and still undeserving) as was expectation of better race relation. And yes compared to his predecessor and possible successor he is way way better. No doubt about that.
Modi has GST to his credit. But did not most Indian think he will transform india?(in terms of economic prosperity). Apart from our own belief that congress is extremely corrupt and anything is better than congress(as if corruption is the overriding main problem in India, remove that and everything will be ok), what are real difference between governance of two parties?
The difference is every small bits of success is being highlighted by govt and amplified by social media followers, that gives us an impression of an govt working for us. Cogress surely missed a trick there.

The Nobel Prize was premature and meaningless as indeed it usually is. I always wondered why Wole Soyinka got the Nobel Prize in Literature...his books are torture...but that is not Obamas doing ...he did not lobby for the prize at any time....if anyone is to be blamed the Nobel Committee should be

I think after Nehru for the first time we have a government that actually seems to have long term plans.

There is a sense that corruption is much reduced. Implementation of policies seems smoother from the ground. Foreign Policy especially has become more aggressive and pragmatic. I for one was impressed by the coordination shown during the NSG hearing even though we did not get membership, there was an efficiency in the way that Indias case was put forward and countries were lobbied and in some cases isolated...an aggressiveness and coordination that India rarely shows. Same with Indias relationships with the Middle East...it has been transformative. Best of all is the firmer stand with nonsense emanating from Pakistan...finally India is repaying their favors in kind. Did you expect economic transformation in 2 years? Is that possible? Congress had 60 years to underperform....

India would have grown anyway with or without sensible government. But with sensible government, the country will be more than just an aggregate of its parts.
