Impact of Eid-ul-Azha on economy

. .
We slaughtered(qarbani) about about 10 cows behalf our family (uncles included) back home. Alhumdulillah. All locally grown. All meats were distributed among our relatives and poor since we live in the state.

We do this every year alhumdulillah.

.
1 lakh crore in Bangla language:lol:
nice try but we don't say crore like you and your estranged mother india...

we planned to sacrifice cow and sheep in kuwait this year but ended up with only doing cow... next year onwards a sheep to one of the african countries and one at home.

Watched the news, many people come from outside Dhaka to eat meat during eid in the city... many others sell meat and takes the money back to where they came from... if only everyone lived in eid spirit 365 days a year

Yes, there are people who sell them off and take money home. It makes sense as they probably have small businesses or initiatives of sort where they would like to invest. Also, they might simply need money for various daily reasons like medicines, food etc. Hence, no judgement there from my side.

But the majority takes the meat and eats them throughout the year. Bangladeshis generally loves to donate and give away to the poor. Although once a year, but the sheer amount these poor people receive from each home is a lot.

lol r u sure as the news is from your own country where it clearly mention 31,200 crores or your countrymen just follow others blindly?

The Bengali word for Crore is "Koti". No one uses the word 'Crore' in daily conversation here.

. . .
Just guesstimates !!! There is no scientific method available to count actual number of sacrifices.
