Well, I'm going to have to politely disagree with your statement.
Islamism is simply the belief that Islamic teachings, as derived from the Quran and the Hadith, should have a role in the political landscape of a territory where Muslims constitute the majority, that does not mean that we advocate the creation of some sort of a totalitarian thocratic dictatorship under which the merciless killing of non-muslims(a horrible act) takes place, nor do we believe that free speech and other human rights are incompatible with our religious beliefs, actually it is quite the opposite.
I simply think that the US constitution is a fascinating document, it lays out the structure for a democratic state(or a constitutional republic) with checks and balances and secures the rights of its citizens, so, I simply advocate a more Islamic manifestation of it , rather than a Judea-Christian inspired variant that, in my opinion , would be suitable for the prosperity of my motherland Pakistan.
As for the belief in constitutionalism , then the Quran is our constitution
