Naw man! I am from Bronx. Most of the areas in queens are dominated by bengalis so I assumed he was from there.

Yea lotta Queens Bengalis. Are there alot of Pakistanis in the Bronx? I would think much less than in Queens and Brooklyn.

You can find alot of Pakistanis in Long island or staten island but almost none in bronx. That's why I am there.

You are absolutely right my friend. I spent almost 3 years living in Maryland and virginia while working in DC. It was really boring there and I got depressed just by looking at south asians there. Being noisy and not respecting ones personal boundary is the main reason I tend to avoid them.

IBH I have more of a connection to american culture as opposed to my Bengali Heritage. Its not one or the other, its a mixture of both. Most Desis in the US have similar experiences.
