I was considered the son of soil when you put me to the highest post a man can get in the most prestigious institution, but when I screwed up and used my powers to benefit my own self and got caught now I can use that race card that most cowards use in this country.

It is such a shameful remarks by Musharraf .... has he forget that only Lieutenant General Muzafar Usmani corps commander Karachi was the Urdu speaking general involved in the coup all others were Punjabi speaking generals ...... & now he is taunting that he is not considered as the son of soil .....

That is ridiculous.
If the Punjabi dominated Pakistan military had zero qualms having him as their Chief and backing him fully as President, then he has zero claim to be discriminated against.
He was the most powerful man in Pakistan for a decade, the entire Army and country backed him for so long. He has no rights to claim discrimination of any form.
This is like Azharuddin being the Indian cricket captain. He started crying that he was removed because he was a Muslim. Funnily, he never said that when he was appointed as Captain.
Bad performance means you got to go and accept that you messed up.

i don't agree with everything what saad rafiq says, it will depend on the context, for example, in the same video he said he doesn't think MQM is expanding, the elections proved him wrong when MQM won new seats and made new voters
whats obvious is obvious you dont have to take anyone's opinion on it, saying something about how things are done inside army, making conspricy theories and for someone to believe on it selectively when it suits your agenda is priceless

Trying to pull an ethnic angle when there isnt none. Sure Musharraf is a migrant but he is as Punjabi as they get. Born and bred there. He screwed up, his arrogance and cowardice led him to his fall. Instead of accepting that and realizing that "enlightened moderation" is no longer the tune of this nation .. rather the very opposite of it.. he should stick to lectures and bellicose interviews in India.
